I think they said she had just ended the fast when she died. They do talk about that in the doc, and about how she had a hard time keeping everyone in her entourage on the fast and/or a healthy diet (they had footage of her entourage members raiding a store for things like Doritos).

Judging by her appearance in that car clip, I find it really hard to believe she had just fasted for forty days. Just don't see how someone that small to begin with could look that way after fasting a week, let alone more than a month.

The site isn't bad -- it is more talk than pictures.

Oh, I know. It's not Faces of Death bad, but corpse photos give me the creeps. It just seems so, I dunno, insensitive and invasive, if that makes any sense. I think it goes back to the sweet older couple who lived next door when I was growing up. They had photo albums full of casket pictures taken at the funerals of their friends and family. Some of them were of children. Ewwww.

She was fasting or had just finished the fast and was also doing some sort of herbal cleansing regimine. She was follower of Dr. Sebi , an herbalist who claimed to cure AIDS and other serious illness using herbs.

I know Lisa had the group following the herbal cleansing regimine, resulting in some of the girls vomiting. The shopping spree happened after they had been on the regimine for a while. I wonder if the fasting/herbs were affecting her mentally or making pre-existing problems worse since she really looked very out of it before she died.

I have that problem with findadeath.com. I don't want to look, but I just can't help it. Lisa's picture actually wasn't that bad, but the Chris Farley pictures are gruesome.

I feel bad for her, even though it sounds like she was totally bonkers and really a pain in the ass to deal with.

I was expecting her to look a lot worse than she did in that picture.

(And I agree about the Chris Farley pics...I saw those a while back and they've haunted me ever since!)
