I need to talk about the Adam Levine Band, because despite my best efforts, I have surrendered to them like many a talent-free underage starlet has surrendered to Adam.

I loved Songs About Jane - the perfect sexy funky pop for a hot summer day. But while I found Adam porny, it was Ryan the drummer whom I had the lurrrve for.

Alas, Ryan had to quit because it's hard to drum when your arms are on the brink of falling off your body. As a result, I was over the Maroons.

Then a few weeks ago, I listened to a leak of It Won't Be Soon Before Long. At first, I was disgusted. ("Stay in bed, touch my body instead, gonna make you feel it"? "Sweet kiwi, your juices dripping down my chin"?! ).

But now, I feel like my life won't be complete until I have teh seks with Adam Fucking Levine. Yes, he is the consummate tool, may give me some sort of STD and could rival Timberlake in the punk-ass bitch sweepstakes. But I must see for myself if he's as good as he keeps singing he is.

And that song likening female secretions to kiwi juice has turned out to be my crack. Hear it, then take in a live performance.

I saw a clip from the video of their first single, and Adam, tool though he may be, looked so hot that I couldn't stand it.

I saw the whole band one Sunday at The Griddle on Sunset. I thought it was so rad that they all hung out in their downtime.

I thought they died in a plane crash or something. Did anyone else see them on Ellen? I hated that side to side foot thing Levine kept doing. Does he do that all the time when he's performing? He looked like a dork.

I don't know anything about them personally, but I love "Songs About Jane". Probably won't buy this album though.
