Sherri doesn't bother me but it was hilarious watching her gobble down Mrs. Seinfeld's dishes like a starved jackal.
I love Eddie Izzard but would prefer to see him somewhere other than The View.

I'm very late to this party because I only just heard about the Christians clip. I'm blown away by the idiocy. I wonder if she ever thinks at all? Christmas = celebration of Jesus Christ's birth. Birth. That means Christ at one point was not alive, having not been born yet. Therefore, people couldn't worship him yet. Therefore, no Christians existed prior to Jesus's existance.
I mean, all of us know this, but the cause-and-effect of this chain of logic is SO obvious that it's really upsetting that this is the level of intelligence "Christians" have sunk to. And if it's not, WHY aren't Christians saying, "This woman is making us look like an idiot!"
I couldnt' even watch the dresses clip. I got to where Melina was saying she'd let her girls play cowboy and the condescending idiotic look on Sherri's face made my blood boil. I had to turn it off before I had an aneurism. And Sherri hadn't even spoken yet!

I just saw the dressed clip on Perez. Uptight harpy at best, homophobe at worse.

I agree with whoever said that they're courting the fundies. The needed someone to balance out Elisabeth's side of the table, and boy did they hit the jackpot.
But you know, they've got an audience for these people. There are a bunch of people on TWOP all "You go, Sherri!" because it's your right to decide if your son wears a dress! Yeah, except this poor little thing was in PREschool, and probably just tried on some clothes like all the other kids were doing.

You know, let's face it. Girls get clothes that are more fun. We get sparkly things and flowy things and all kinds of colors. If I were a little boy, I'd want to play with all that stuff too!

I don't know what exactly Babs and Bill were going for when they hired Sherri, but the cynic in me makes me think they were trying to find someone with Bitsy's ideas but with a better overall delivery. Sherri doesn't inspire the same kind of mean-spirited dislike in me like Bitsy does. In comparison, Sherri is quite harmless, which is even more dangerous because just like the old saying goes, you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar, and I think this may just apply here.

Total agreement. I also agree that there is an audience for this tripe. My mother in law, for example.

And everyone I went to high school with. Face it, if Rush Limbaugh had a huge audience, this shit is gonna fly, too.
Which is the scariest thing of all.

I can't stand her when she does that. I mean she's wolfing down food like she hasn't eaten in a month; and I also saw her drinking booze like a fish, she gulped down one shot, then another, yeah, real klassy Sherri. She has no class, she's what the old folks in my family would call "common." What's sad is there are so few black women on the small screen, why in the world would anyone in their right mind pick this person? I'm sure there must be some conservatives who don't act like gross pigs in public.

Elisabeth does all the food segment and would taste NOTHING (not even stuff without gluten, her allergy). And now we get Sherri - popped out big eyes, eating like a pig. Or rather again, some stupid stereotype. Edited because Sherri is a glutton, but Elisabeth is allergic to gluten!
