I can't stand her when she does that. I mean she's wolfing down food like she hasn't eaten in a month; and I also saw her drinking booze like a fish, she gulped down one shot, then another, yeah, real klassy Sherri. She has no class, she's what the old folks in my family would call "common." What's sad is there are so few black women on the small screen, why in the world would anyone in their right mind pick this person? I'm sure there must be some conservatives who don't act like gross pigs in public. I know, can there be nothing in between? Elisabeth does all the food segment and would taste NOTHING (not even stuff without gluton, her allergy). And now we get Sherri - popped out big eyes, eating like a pig. Or rather again, some stupid stereotype. I know, every time I see her pig out, with her eyes popping, my mind goes back to some horrible old cartoon when they'd show a black person (or a white person in blackface) chomping down on watermelon.

Sheri can't hold two opposing views in her head, it is a malady that a lot of people suffer from. And it is sad that she has a platform to share her draconian and stupid beliefs.
And maybe I am some moral less liberal but I am not so brainwashed to believe that if a little boy wants to play dress up it makes him either or gay or transgendered. I mean seriously, did Sheri get the memo that women are allowed to wear pants?? I am woman. And I hate wearing dresses and skirts - does that make me a lesbian? In Sheris mind I bet it does.

Sherri doesn't bother me but it was hilarious watching her gobble down Mrs. Seinfeld's dishes like a starved jackal. I love Eddie Izzard but would prefer to see him somewhere other than The View. I can't stand her when she does that. I mean she's wolfing down food like she hasn't eaten in a month; and I also saw her drinking booze like a fish, she gulped down one shot, then another, yeah, real klassy Sherri. What's sad is there are so few black women on the small screen, why in the world would anyone in their right mind pick this person? I'm sure there must be some conservatives who don't act like gross pigs in public. And I thought I heard Sherri say that she was recently diagnosed with diabetes (or was it a thyroid condition) so she shouldn't be drinking alcohol at all and should be careful with what she eats.

Yeah, she said she's been diagnosed with diabetes very recently, and the dietary changes she had to make are the reason why she's lost a little bit of weight.* Notice that she's thinner now than she is in the opening credits. *Or maybe that's a lie and it's "diet and pilates" all over again!!!

The thing that really bothers me about Sherri's dress comments is that her rationale seems to come down to "Because I said so!" I can't stand people who think like that. In her simple mind, things are just supposed to be one way, and if they are not that way, there's no discussion of it, no wanting to know the "why?" behind the behavior. All you're going to get is "Because I said so!"
And when Barbara asked Sherri how would she feel if her son was gay, Sherri said she would accept him, but there were "certain behaviors" she wouldn't allow in her house. Huh? What the hell does that mean? He can't have gay sex in her house? I think most parents are probably not okay with their teens having sex in their house, but what does that have to do with being gay? Unfortunately, I have the feeling that even gay kissing wouldn't be acceptable in the "Shepherd household" (as she called it.) "It's okay if you're gay just as long as you don't do anything gay in my house or bring any boyfriends home." She's a moron.

William F. Buckley is dead. WFB is still alive and kicking, though his lovely, gracious wife Pat passed away earlier this year.
