She has a rather distinctive beauty, I think -- kind of ethereal looking.

I wonder if Marion has a decent storyline in Inception. The director seems to only use women as window dressing and saves the real roles for male actors.
She was the best part of Public Enemies, as she acted circles around Bale and Depp. She was also the best thing about the horrid Nine.

I haven't seen Inception yet, but so looking forward to seeing what part she plays in it.
There have been alot of photos of her filming her new Woody Allen movie with Owen Wilson around lately. I have to say I love what she wears in the few photos I've seen. The movie looks intriguing and it also has Carla Brunei in it as well.

Having just seen Inception last night, I think she gave the most memorable performance in the movie (with no disrespect to the other actors - they were good, she was REALLY good). I agree with you about Nolan's tendency to use women as window dressing and I'm not sure that totally changed in this movie, but Cotillard has a pretty meaty role and makes the most of it. Also I completely agree with you about Public Enemies.

Gorgeous as ever. (Though in some of the pictures that dress is giving Marion little underarm pooches. If that happens when a celebrity wears it, I can only imagine what it would do to mere mortals.)
I'm a total Marion fangirl and have to work hard to say something bad about her, but the other day I watched her first movie with Guillaume Canet, Love Me if You Dare, and thought it was a total shitshow. It was supposed to be cutesy and charming like Amelie, but it came off as mean-spirited and bizarre. Marion and Guillaume were still pretty great in their roles, but the characters they were playing were some of the most hateful ones I've seen on film. The movie is pretty old now, but I just had to get that off my chest!

I think she's the only actress other than Diane Kruger who can pull off those boot...shoe...things.

Yeah... I'm not liking that look on her.
