I don't mind a well executed mullet hem (and this one is). It's a great way to show off your shoes while still wearing a formal gown.

Her look really grew on me to the point where she's actually my best dressed. No cookie cutter strapless sparkly dress. Plus her hair and make up are flawless.

I thought she looked amazing. I loved her look. Very chic.

Normally I don't like the mullet hems, but it is really working for me on this dress - the draping of the skirt actually works for a change, and the difference in length isn't that drastic. I really like the dimension it adds to the dress. I agree.

I'm too drawn to her face, I never even see her fashion. I think she's gorgeous.

Her whole look is absolute perfection for me.
Also, I agree with bklynred, her face is so beautiful it's hard to see anything else. I remember going to the movies to see A Very Long Engagement when I was in France years ago, and I mean, Audrey Tatou is in the majority of the film and is freakishly gorgeous herself, but Marion showed up and I was all, "Holy crap, who is that?!"
I know her personality gets mixed reviews, but she won a lot of points with me when, in the recent Oscar Actress roundtable interview, the question was "What role would you most like to play?" All the other actresses named glamorous historical or cultural figures--roles in what would be Oscar-bait biopics--but Marion said Gollum. Love.

Hm. Not my favorite look, but she's still my Number One Style Icon...

I think it's a look I would like at Cannes more than the dreary, rain-soaked Baftas. Still it's interesting and with that fucking face she can really do no wrong.

Love, except for the weird cutout/mesh bit.
