Word on the Jen Garner love. She's a fine, fine actress and she seems pretty well grounded.

Mandy Moore is amazing. I also think she's so fucking beautiful.
Let me add some Christian Bale love. He's seems really grounded and dedicated his family, etc. He's also phenomenal looking and a great actor to boot.
Ewan seems to be that way too. Plus he kisses boys.
I have some pretty unwarranted Joaquin love too. I like the brooding, quirky types.
Oh jebus, it looks like I hate women.

I love Eddie Izzard. He's just freakin' hilarious. And unique. Heck, he'd be unique even without the cross-dressing!
I read somewhere that he and Minnie Driver are going to have a sitcom called Lowlife next season--in the US, I think. Yay! I don't love Minnie, but I don't hate her either. And anything that gives me more Eddie is good enough for me.

Love Joshua Jackson - I have found Josh to be very versatile and an incredibly good actor. Very expressive eyes. Looking forward to see Aurora Borealis and the new fall CBS drama he's going to star in...
Love Michelle Williams - She was indeed a revelation in BBM. She's got IT.
Love Jake Gyllenhall - BBM was the first movie I've seen him in, he gives an incredibly layered and natural performance, and is one of the best young actors out there. Comes across as very articulate and funny in almost all of the interviews I've seen or heard. Knows how to play the Hollywood game and he plays it well. Looking forward to the movie Zodiac
Love Heath Ledger - Not just because of BBM, because he's not your typical Hollywood celebrity. Seems to be the type to disregard cliches and throw himself into his character. I was amazed at how he disappeared into the character of Ennis in BBM. I have always thought there was more to him than meets the eye..And I loved how he handled himself on Oprah. Also loved his quote on him being brave. Shows a certain level of humility and levelheadedness.
Love Kate Blanchett - She can show more emotion in a slight twitch of her face than most of the other "Palthrows" out there. She blew me away in the movie The Gift.
Love Sandra Bullock - She just comes across as likable in most of her movies. She knows her stuff and sticks to it. I loved her in 2 weeks notice. She can out act Reese any day (IMHO).
Love Colin Firth - On of the best actors out there. I just feel he can nail any kind of role thrown at him. He is criminally underrated. loved him in Girl with a Perl Earring.

Dame Judi Dench is where it's at for me. A strong, older woman, whoda thunk it?
Whoopi Goldberg. Proof that you don't have to look like a supermodel to make the big leagues.
Queen Latifah. Ditto.
John Lithgow. Oh the divine lunacy!
Hank Azaria. Just saw Spamalot. He was far and away the best member of the whole cast.
David Hyde Pierce. Gay, straight, whatever. I saw him also in Spamalot, and he looked hot with long blonde hair.
Tim Curry. Did not get to see him in Spamalot (I was two months too late, I'm afraid), but I will always respect him for getting the role of Dr. Frank N. Furter by singing "Tutti Fruitti".

Reminding me of David Hyde Pierce, I remember a cool quote from him about his life being like a book. Can anyone give me the exact quote? Thanks in advance.

I love the whole cast of Smallville. Sure Tom Welling brings the pretty, but there is somthing about Michael Rosenbaum[/color] that gets me feeling all schoolgirl giddy with a first crush again. I have never got the Jen Garner hate either. I think she is a wonderful actress and person. I like Catherine Zeta Jones. There I said it. Joshua Jackson just seems like a nice normal guy, he was my first crush...Damn you Mighty Ducks 2, I don't know how to quit you. I like Alyson Hannigan, and pretty much the whole cast of BtVS.

And anything that gives me more Eddie is good enough for me. Oh, me too! Hey, fellow Eddie fan! I just saw him in a work-in-progress show in NYC in November. He was fantastic...the show was very small and intimate and he didn't dress in drag. Guess that's for the finished product. Other celebs I like: Hmm, well I already bravely admitted to liking Gwyneth Paltrow in her thread, so I might as well do it here. Who else? Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet...Oh, Steve Carell! Big time. Actually, the whole cast of the Office US...and Ricky Gervais as well, now that I'm thinking about the Office. I think that's about it.
