I was thrilled that Davs & Connor won. I'd have taken the country singers over the obnoxious Brenchel. I just didn't think brenchel had any redeeming qualities. I was so thrilled the singer's cabbie refused to ditch them for Brenchel and it was hysterical to see them be so confident about running the final leg In Vegas and then fall apart.
Didn't one of brenchel (I don't care enough to look it up) win big brother and therefore already has enough money to have a baybee???

Rachel is well aware that she's not especially pretty and furthermore, she knows that Brendan is better looking than she is. It drives her absolutely insane even seeing other attractive women because she's paranoid that one of them will "steal" him from her. I know it isn't fun for her and I'm sure she has reasons behind her issues but fucking Jesus Christ does it make her unlikable. She's either in Brendan's Girlfriend Mode or Attack Dog Mode with no real middle ground.
He's hideous on the inside and aging really badly on the outside so it's a perfect match, I guess. Better they feed off each other's insane bullshit than the souls of the innocent.

Except I don't think Rachel is in attractive; she's not conventionally pretty like the country singers, but I certainly think she's nice-looking. Trouble is, her unattractive personality makes you forget that. It's sad that she is so insecure about her looks that she's afraid of losing her man. Is that why she wants a baybee so badly, to permanently "hook" him?
I think we all know real life people who aren't considered pretty or handsome, but we find them attractive because they're just so appealing.
And I have no issue with the country singers being in the top three even while coming in last. The game has non-elimination legs, it's just another component to, I suppose, prevent lagging teams from giving up. Perpetual hope and all that. They do have to do an extra task as punishment, in addition to starting last, so if a team can come from the back, do an extra task, and still make it to the end, kudos to them.

I think Rachel is one of those borderline people whose attractiveness is greatly influenced by how you feel about them. That being said, I almost felt a glimmer of sympathy for her because goddamn did Brendon find a way to browbeat her when she turned out to be right about backtracking to find the clue. I get the feeling that in that household things manage to be her fault most of time. I bet he found a way to blame her for his decision to send his dick pic to another woman.

Both of them are ugly on the inside, which somehow manifests to their external appearances. You start noticing little physical flaws, which just kills any appeal they may have.

I found the episode unsatisfying. I really wanted there to be a challenge that quizzed them on the entire race like there's been other seasons. I really don't like it when all of the challenges are easy and the trick is to just do them quickly. While I don't especially like Brendan and Rachel, I hate that they were out of it because of a bad cab driver and had no opportunity to make up time.

batmom I felt the same way. I like when there's a mental challenge and it's not just a matter of who gets somewhere faster. I also disliked a father watching his son die in a burning box and then the ha ha, fooled you!

I was also expecting a mental challenge about their race so far. On the bright side though, Rachel showed on BB that she was ridiculously good at that sort of challenge, so it was probably for the best.
Was I the only one that thought Brendan almost looked relieved when her box went into the fire?
The editors clearly hated them too. Every time they mentioned something they were definitely going to be awesome at "I used to be a bartender, we'll do perfectly at this drink pouring challenge" 10 hours later... "I've done calligraphy!" Leaving two places behind where they entered... "I used to work at this casino, I know where the clue is." Running right past the clue...

I wonder if they skipped the finale trivia challenge because everyone had raced before and would know to keep meticulous records about all the destinations. Thus, the producers had a little "gotcha!" with them, when all that note taking and memorizing was for nothing.
And I don't think the slow cabbie can be blamed. They could have caught up at the Mirage counting the bulbs but they ran around and got lost.
