My feet hurt looking at those pics. I wore low heels today and my feet are still burning in protest.
The second SATC movie was an abomination. I actually got crabby watching it, and I love John Corbett. No third one! No no NO!

I followed SJP's shoe collection on Instagram. I was really looking forward to seeing what she'd create. It was disappointing to see no innovation and how overpriced they were. She said she was creating the shoe line for SATC fans who couldn't afford Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo. Well, I can't afford $1,200 Manolos OR $500 SJPs.

Sorry, Sarah--if I'm spending that much on shoes, I'll stick with my Ferragamo flats and low heels. The pairs my grandmother gave me still look brand-new after twenty years of wear...

I was at Nordstrom and picked up a pair of pumps and almost fell over. Just black leather- $695. Like others have said, if I'm going to pay that much, it's not going to be on 'SJP'. As for the stoop, I like her a lot, but I'm fairly certain that if people started posing on her steps (I think she lives around the corner?), she would not be so carefree about it.

I wonder why didn't she just do a limited edition collaboration with Jimmy Choo back during the show's prime. ETA: puretrash - FWIW, SJP did try to do a collabo (that was more affordable) with Steve and Barry's called Bitten. Steve and Barry's is now defunct, by the way.

What a dumb business plan. All celebrity apparel lines should be affordable to the average Jane, no exceptions. Like you all said, people who have that kind of money are NOT going to be spending it on SJP. Just look at Jessica Simpson, Suzanne Sommers, Jaclyn Smith, etc who have amassed fortunes selling affordable lines.

I got a few items from the Bitten line probably 10 years ago. I still have them and I wish she could find someone else with whom to relaunch that project, because they are wonderful. A short white trench coat and a couple of oxford style button downs that still look great.

Victoria Beckham's line and the Olsen twins' "Elizabeth & James" are exceptions, but I think they just prove your rule. Especially since they don't promote their own line - and especially not like this. A photo shoot on the steps of a character that is iconic, sure, but still - was in their prime ten years ago? Taaaacky. I expected more from SJP - she has always seemed so classy.

Without seeing the brand name, I tried on a pair of Jessica Simpson's heels because they were cute. They turned out to be comfortable and I could easily afford them.
Im in agreement with everyone else. SJP/Carrie Bradshaw is not enough of a draw to make me try on a $400 pair of shoes I can easily get in other brands/price points.

Yeah, that's Kate Spade money...and I'd rather have Kate Spades.
