George attended Comic Con last week and Amal's in Greece for work. For some reason I thought she'd keep her maiden name, but it looks like she's now going to go by Amal Clooney.

*tries not to have blood boil at the British claim to the Parthenon's treasures*
"And a British Museum spokesman said at the time that trustees ‘feel there is a public benefit to having the sculptures in our collection remain part of our collection’."
*fails*
How about the benefit to the public to whom the marbles actually belong? Grrrrrrrrrrr. Go, Amal, go!
On topic, I love her hair and clothes not to mention her career, and her husband is a hottie still to me. I'm not envious of other women much, but she brings it out in me.
ETA: Heh. More posting about Amal was perhaps not that on topic. So...I love that George has a satellite pointed at South Sudan.

The purse is adorable (as is the dress), but it reminds me of a hatbox. I love that pop of red with the black and white dress.
Or of one of those home hair dryers my mom had - she'd set her hair every Saturday afternoon after her baking was done and then sit under the dryer for a couple hours. It came in a round case, larger than that purse.

Off topic, but I just do not understand why ginormous purses are so popular. What in the world do people carry in them? They always look flappy and empty. Diaper bags are glamorous? Don't get it. But then I am very very far off the fashion grid.

Think about the Kartrashians.

I use ginormous purses because I don't have a car. If I'm running around the city all day and night with multiple things to do that could require change of clothes, shoes plus laptop, umbrella, etc. then there isn't another option as I won't be stopping home in between work and evening stuff. Plus, one doubles as my plane carry on. When I can leave the house with only one thing to do (and don't have to carry bottles of wine for dinner parties, etc.) then I use a small cross body bag for the essentials.

Oh, I absolutely was not referring to people who have a USE for a ginormous purse! Just shaking my head at people who spend a million dollars on a bag that could hold a small pony just because they can, (or want to give that impression)! No offense meant, truly!
