We don't but it's fun to speculate. There was a rather low celeb factor for his wedding though. Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford, and professional social climber John Krasinski (with wife Emily Blunt), and that was about it.

I still am scratching my head at JKras being a social climber. I believe it, but it just doesn't make sense given his public persona as a nice, unassuming guy. She seems more like the climber.

I think it's because JKras comes off as really smug, while Emily Blunt comes off poised, funny, and smart-- like she doesn't need to have famous friends. But that's because I heart Emily Blunt.
Topic is George Clooney. Who is as boring as his speech was. And his acting. The most interesting thing about him are Amal's gloves.

I think black gloves would have worked better with the dress. Amal is a beautiful woman and didn't look out of place with the professionally glamorous women in that room. I loved Amy and Tina's joke this year. George married way, way up. I love Don Cheadle, and Julianna Margilies is lovely but I thought they could've pulled in some bigger star power for George. They couldn't get Julia Roberts or Matt Damon to present to him? Because Julia Roberts would have made it all about herself.

I sort of love the wrinkly glove look? Maybe because I have chunky upper arms and fantasize about having actual loose gloves. She's not Cinderella - she came from a very well to do family and I doubt this is her first Black Tie Affair. I'd bet that gloves were intentional, as was the rest of her look. The candids I've seen of her have lead me to believe that she has very eclectic taste in clothes. To put it politely. Bless her heart. I am really interested in her impressions of her first big hollywood event, though. She and George have known each other for what...16 months now? This is all a lot of transition for her.

I'm going to be a rugged individualist and say: The gloves didn't bother me so much. I've seen gloves like that before and they were deliberately...bunchy. What I found more curious is that she was very low-key both on the red carpet and during the show. I got the feeling from previous camera options that she was more vivacious, but of course, I could be wrong. I'm guessing since it was his professional event she was downplaying things a bit so as not to be accused of trying to steal the show.

She really is lovely but she doesn't photograph all that well. Some photos show just how beautiful she is and some catch her in a way that makes her look odd/not very attractive. Or is that just me?

I think her tilted-head pose is not doing her any favors. Is she trying to look winsome?
