I agree with you across the board. Week 1, I thought maybe Sandhya's dress looked better in person, but her dress this week looked like a costume. She should have been in the middle or bottom. As for the bottom, I'm glad we don't have to witness a woman on the verge anymore.

The first week, although I thought her dress didn't look that great, the snarking from a couple of the other contestants about Sandhya turned me off, and so I felt a bit more kindly to her. But yeah, the fact that she was in the top at all, much less won, with this week's outfit was mind-boggling and ridiculous. There were elements that were interesting and thoughtful in how she made it, but it didn't change the fact that it was ugly and there were real outfits made that were much more appealing and wearable and spoke immediately to the judges. After all, 20 years isn't really that much time. In fact, I saw some leggings yesterday, and a dress a few days ago that I wore 20 years ago, so it's not as if fashion changes that drastically "in the future"!
As for the woman who went home ... She has a nice style, but it really was painful to watch her. It must have been exhausting for the other designers to be around her. How on earth did she ever manage to work on Wall Street at all?

I like Sandhya and I like her clothes. They're different but wearable. And as far as I was concerned, she was the only one who embraced the last challenge about designing for the future. It was the only outfit that didn't look like it could come off of a rack in today's market. Maybe it's just because I've watched this show since season 1 but I like that she's not cookie cutter and goes for something out of the box. And I can't believe that people who work in the fashion industry, which has seen outfits way more over the top than Sandhya's are so catty about her designs.

It was a stupid challenge. 20 years isn't much into the future. I hated Sandhya's dress, it looked like a cheap tablecloth that was being attacked by a vacuum cleaner. Those hoses looked idiotic and no one in the future is going to be wearing that crap.
For the third week in a row Sandyha sent the dumbest thing down the runway and she's still here. Ugh.

Aw, I like Sandyha. And I think she is a genuinely nice person. I don't always love her designs, but they are outside the box and kind of exciting. I think I probably anticipate seeing what she comes up with the most of any of the designers. Honestly I think the phoniest person on the show is Amanda. I don't buy her schtick at all.

Amanda annoys me like no one's business. She comes across as phony.
I didn't see her original season, but I'm guessing she was the same back then.

I rolled my eyes when she won, as this was essentially the same look she won with two weeks ago: short dress with hippy fringe down to the ankles. On the plus side, she hasn't yet brought up how she knows all about fame because her brother is in Maroon 5.

Yeah, Amanda's dress looked like a Free People reject design. Kini should have won!
