I used to really enjoy this show, but I realized how much my attention has fizzed when I saw an ad and didn't really feel much of anything--and had forgotten it was coming back this month. Who else is tuning in?

Mad Men promos are very good at saying very little! Never any spoilers there! There was a rerun on TV this morning and I clicked on "info" and the description was "In the Season 6 finale, Don has a problem" which describes every single episode of MM ever. I'm watching tonight. After the long delay and this bullshit about splitting the season in two and the general hype, I'm a little peevish so it had better be GOOD.

KG, thanks for that. That was almost as perfect as the Machete trailer. Laughing my ass off!

And like original Joan, Sugar Hills Halloway is awesome. I just hope Don stops circling the drain. He's become such a sad sack. I hope fessing up to growing up in a whorehouse (in front of clients, no less) and showing Sally a piece of his past is a step in the right direction.

Mad Men lost its mojo somewhere around Seasons 5-6 and hasn't got it back. I am hoping for a good final season for Don and Peggy and Joan.

I'm really tired too after a 12-hour shift at work today, but I WILL stay up to watch the premiere! (Zzzzz...) I just wish it came on earlier. Oh well. Still excited! Eta- watching now... omg, Neve Campbell, are you kidding me?! I don't think the '60s makeup is very flattering on her face... it really hardens her. Also, Joan is more awesome than ever! Love the twist that Don is "Cyranoing" Freddy. And, poor Peggy.
