I think Wiener is just messing with us at this point. And I totally expect the finale to be just like this. Just a regular episode.
The only person we haven't checked in with yet is Sally, and honestly, she's the only person I'm interested in.

I like Megan's mother with Roger (since Joan's moved on), but that ship has sailed. Like others have said, I want these last episodes to be about the characters we love.... interacting with characters we love. Not newbies. LOST tried this too, and it didn't work then either.
When are show-runners going to learn they're not special snowflakes? With "just four episodes left", I don't think there's going to be any sort of satisfaction.

"I'll flip my tie over my shoulder and roll up my sleeves. They'll love it." "Yeah. They probably will." Hee.

I really hope they dont try to sell us on a Don and Diana true love ending. Don is Don, and I just wont buy that he is suddenly going to settle down and live an honest life. This storyline is boring me because its the most unrealistic one of all. I can even buy Roger and Marie finding happiness (mainly because she won't put up with his shit and he knows it).
I'm preparing myself to be underwhelmed by the finale.

Diana made it clear she's not interested in Don's attempt to forget the past. I can only hope we never see her again.
Don is a womanizer and I have no doubt he'll still be a womanizer in 1980, 1990 and 2000.

I wish Don would listen and leave Debbie Downer alone, but he's straight up stalking her at this point, so I doubt it.
Alan Sepinwall's review over at hitfix.com summed up beautifully why this episode bugged me. Don is latching onto some woman, convinced she will solve all his problems just like he did with Megan (and probably Betty back in the day). Sepinwall also noted how out of touch Weiner is with the viewers - Weiner told him in an interview that viewers didn't like Don proposing to Megan because they wanted him back with Betty. Uh, no. While I'm sure there are some Betty/Don 'shippers out there, most people objected because they could see it was a terrible idea.

If Joan ends up with Bruce Greenberg, I will be very happy.

How long has he been harboring a crush on Betty?

How long has he been harboring a crush on Betty? Glen asked for a lock of Betty's hair in S1 which was 1960, and we're in 1970 now. I hope his friendship with Sally all this time wasn't just an excuse to reintroduce himself to Betty once he was old enough. Sooooo glad the story didn't go there with them actually sleeping together. Though gross, it wouldn't be completely out of character, and what better way to seem like Father of the Year than throwing your son a love scene with January Jones? Loved Joan's wardrobe this week, the colors and cuts were so flattering.
