I have to wonder what the kids will think when they're a little older and google all this nonsense. That they have a jackass for a mother, and a morally ambiguous father?

If what I have read about Kelly Rutherford's past behavior regarding this situation is true, then this just makes my blood boil.

There's no way those kids will be returned before the hearing on June 15th. Kelly may have found a judge sympathetic to her claims and narrow in his/her thinking about nationalism, but that doesn't mean Monaco or the EU is going to force him to send those kids to Kelly immediately. Especially with all her idiotic talk about kidnapping them and the like. They'll have their court hearing with their custody judge.

She's so full of shit. As far as I can see, the custody case so far has been held in Monaco. A Californian judge cannot just overrule a judge from another country.

From the story posted from waytoocheerful: Her ex-husband does have a point: a(n impartial) third party should hold onto the children's passports! While I don't doubt that there are other families in similar situations, she is coming off so obnoxious (like Jason Patric about his cause).

So the kids have been living and going to school in Monaco for 3 years now, living primarily with their father, and they're being yanked back to the U.S., where their father is not allowed to enter the country. And this is in their best interest how, exactly?
The parents both need to put aside their hate, and do whatever is necessary to ensure that the kids can have both parents active in their lives. She needs to drop the parental alienation and he needs to get his visa in order. This is ridiculous and is hurting their kids.
I think she is the one who started this mess, but I'm side eyeing him for not applying for the visa when the judge told him to.

Can he get a visa though? I was under the impression that he can't, which is mostly why the judge decided they should stay in Monaco with him, with Kelly getting visits, as if they were to return to live in the USA he would basically never see them again.

Apparently he was allowed to reapply two years after the investigation? That is what I keep hearing in stories about the situation. Which is weird. I take it they deported him and then the arms investigation yielded nothing?
