And a season four! I started watching from the pilot a few months ago and now I'm all caught up which is kind of sad because now I'm pathetically waiting for new episodes.

Ben's claymation rant was hilarious. I really enjoyed this episode.

I'm in the middle of Season 3 on Netflix and just bumped it up from 3 stars to 4 since Rob Lowe joined the cast. Who knew Rob Lowe could act? Not me, that's for sure. And who knew he could be funny? Intentionally funny, I mean. The "kids," Andy & April, started out annoying but are dopey cute as a couple, and the actor playing Andy does really stupid really well. Tom Haverford has more depth now and the cameos by his BFF Jean-Ralphio are hilarious. Leslie Knope's manson lamps are dialled up to Penetrate Lead.
So, yeah, get ready for this to be cancelled, now that I like it.

Andy was pretty awesome in "Moneyball", too. I hope Jean-Ralphio's stint on that new show about making the 1% 1%ier doesn't preclude future appearances. Entertainment 720 was an amazing company.

Season 3 of Parks and Recreation was pretty much a perfect season of television. The ratings are minuscule but I don't think they'll cancel it as NBC has nothing left and P & R at least gets some critical acclaim. Also the Internet would probably burn NBC to the ground if they end up canceling both Community and Parks and Recreation while keeping Whitney and that Chelsea show. Fingers crossed they keep both Parks and Community.

I never underestimate the ability of network suits to stick their heads up their asses.

This season feels a little different to me. It's still my favorite show on TV but I don't love it as much as I used to. I don't know if I like the amount of focus on Leslie's campaign.

Am I the only person who feels bad for Jerry?

Am I the only person who feels bad for Jerry? One of my nieces always feels so bad for him. She gets upset when the other characters mock him. (I love that about my niece. She's a good hearted kid.) I like that Leslie Knopp is one of the nicest, most endearing characters on TV with one exception: Jerry. It's like the writers felt compelled to give her this teeny dark streak. lol

Jerry seems to just bring out the worst in people. Something about him just makes his co-workers hostile.
The few glimpses into Jerry's personal life reveal that he's probably the happiest person in Pawnee's P&R department. He has a gorgeous wife, beautiful daughters that adore him, a nice retirement condo, and apparently the endowment gods were quite generous with him.
I feel more sorry for Kyle.
