That is dumb. If Buress truly didn't like him, he should have ignored the invite.

Maybe he thought it would be fun to dump on him unironically? Some standups have shown up at these things to do that. It's not in the spirit of a roast, but it gets them press, and roasts are kind of a dated concept anyway.

I don't know though... Media Exposure. A chance to hobnob with some other Celebs. A very likely stacked CraftService table of free food and booze. And the opportunity to openly trash talk Justin Bieber? Hells yes! Sad *I* wasn't invited!
p.s. Jinx Hamatron!

That sounds like a typical roast routine to me. In context and on video, it won't seem as bad. Nothing they say is supposed to be taken literally...even if they really mean it. It's the beauty of roasting. Andy Samberg did one of my favorite roast routines. He used comedic loopholes to avoid being too mean to anyone.

"Your buddies are gone, get the hell out!"
So while it's gratifying to see the little snot nose being shown the door, I know from aggressive power mad security guards. I'm on Bieber's side on this one.
So while it a

Yeah. This sounds sketchy. The stories I'm seeing are saying that Drake's people were trying to let him in, he was invited, and he wasn't being rude/was willing to leave if it didn't work out. Then security came and put him in a choke hold. I think this is the first time I have been on his side, but all accounts sound like he wasn't being a problem and did nothing wrong. Security was being really nasty.
