So my friends and I weren't the only ones to call Danny, Monkey Face? Ha! Well, despite the monkey face, he did date Halle Berry, who is beautiful. Although now we know she is a beautiful psycho.

I never liked NKOTB but I have my theories about the Danny lovers. One is that they felt sorry for him because he wasn't then cute one. The other is that maybe they saw that the lines to Donnie, Jordan et al were much longer. This could also help dodge things like slumber party conversations like who loves Donnie more and who is better suited to Joey. With Danny, there is no argument. Plus, I recall Danny was a weightlifter, and I'm sure many girls who liked Danny were more concerned with the below-the-neck view. Male butterface!

I'm torn here, because Jenny destroyed any liking I had for her with her vaccination/autism bullshit, but at the same time I think she and Donnie are a good pair -- I remember seeing that video of the two of them in bed doing that interview when they first got together, and the chemistry was off the charts. Also, Mark Wahlberg is a complete asshole, so his opinion doesn't carry much weight with me.

Former Danny luvah here and you, my friend, nailed it.

I'm just sitting here literally laughing out loud that Jenny McCarthy's thread devolved into us talking about Danny Wood.
I had no idea he used to date Halle Berry!

I thought it was a gorgeous wedding. Her son is so tall. Know he got that from his dad.

With her beauty, Halle opted to date Danny Wood? I just looked at other pictures of Danny as an adult. Now I see why some call him "Monkey Face". I can never unsee that! [/OT] Back to the wedding...yes, lots of roses. Didn't Eva Longoria's wedding to Tony Parker feature a lot of roses as well?

I think you're on to something there, chonies and I think the theoretical antecedent lies with Ringo fans. My mom's favorite was Ringo because she saw him as more attainable than Paul or John or even George. Her fortysomething self laughed at her teenage self for that, but that was her take on Danny Wood fans. And now I've outed my beloved and deceased mother as having had an opinion on Danny Wood and his fans. She'd be simultaneously mortified and cackling with laughter. Sorry, mom. Topic? Um, I liked the roses I guess. That was nice. Yessss! Between Mulva and KE's mom's Ringo theory, I feel like a freaking genius. Topic: I hope Jenny McCarthy feels fulfilled in her new role as a former celeb married to Wahlberg, and finds emotional authenticity out of the public.

If Mark Walhberg doesn't like her it makes me stop to think...that she must not be that bad. I strongly believe that if I sat down at a dinner with both of them at the same time, I would leave the room measurably less intelligent.
