SPOILERS OMGWTFBBQ!!
It's okay, Beth. Carol is here now.
It's really fricking not okay, Dawn. Carol is here now.
Though honestly, I don't think Dawn will turn out to be the big villain of the season. She seems to be running parallel with Abraham in the Well Intentioned Extremist department. Though with 50% more senseless brutality and short-sightedness.
And before anyone says "yabbut, Carol is injured," know that she will beat you to death with her own severed arm and then sew it back on while quietly humming "Bringing in the Sheaves." That's just how Carol rolls.

I bet it's pretty fun to be Melissa McBride right now in real life. People probably go into states of euphoria when they see her.

I think Carol fakes an injury to get inside the hospital. Maybe she and Daryl saw Beth trying to get away and know she's being held against her will. They followed the cross car back to the hospital. It was parked in the parking lot.
The actress playing Joan looked like Keisha Castle Hughes from Whale Rider. Was that her?

The actress playing Joan looked like Keisha Castle Hughes from Whale Rider. Was that her? Yes it was! I noticed her name in the credits at the beginning but forgot about it by the time she was on screen.

Yes, it's her! Her few minutes playing Joan was more compelling than all the time (wasted) on Emily Kinney being Beth. It's a shame that Joan is dead and Beth is still alive.
Welcome Tyler James Willams! I hope Noah sticks around a while. He, Joan, and the few seconds of Carol were the only characters this episode who were worth a damn. Everyone else just chewed the scenery and made the hour painful.

The shows producers seem to have a crush on Beth, I agree, I would have liked them to have kept Joan. Keisha Castle Hughes is an academy award nominee.

Welcome Tyler James Willams! I hope Noah sticks around a while. Me too. I was so glad he got out, I would've been so pissed if he'd died so stupid Beth could escape.
