I felt more emotion for Beth during the Talking Dead than I did for her final story arc. Still, sad to see her go because she's infinitely better than Gabriel or Noah. They should have left Gabriel at the hospital. I did find it funny that no one wanted to go with them after Rick offered. I guess the hospital isn't all that bad? lol Sometimes it's easier to be with the monsters you've known than to confront new monsters. Yup. Plus I think all the rapist cops were dead so they didn't really have to worry about that any more.

Remember Shane shooting Otis in the kneecap so he could get away from the zombies? I can't see Rick doing that to anyone in his own group. Shane also tried to rape Lori at the CDC, he put his gunsights on Rick and was about to shoot until Dale busted him, he threatened Dale's life, and he lured Rick out into a field to murder him. Rick is a badass, Shane was a thug. I'm just noting an observation that was made by one of the producers, that Shane's general mindset and Rick's current mindset aren't that far apart.

prisma, I was confused by that too. It didn't help my non-watching brother decided that should be the moment to strike up a conversation. Oy, these non-WD people! Father Gabriel had better have one hell of a redemption to make up for "I needed to see, I needed to know"... what?!?!? 2 years after this happened, you decide not that you can't get back into your church to check out the school on your own? My DVR cut out while Morgan was looking around at the school. What happened?!?!?!?
Rest in Peace, Beth. I assume the second half of the season will be about Maggie coming to the realization that she really did have siblings. Morgan found the church, went inside and found the map with Abraham's message to Rick. I'm glad that I read about Morgan here and in other recaps. We watched it on iTunes and his scene wasn't shown. I mentioned it to my brother who watched it OnDemand and didn't see it there, either.

I live in Alabama, so the weather here is similar to what the Walking Dead folks would be experiencing. I went in a hike in the hills near here yesterday--we were on a pretty steep trail and the fallen leaves had obscured the trail path and several times we thought we were lost until we managed to spot a trail marker and correct ourselves. The leaves were slick and I fell several times and got scratched up by branches and thorns. At one point I thought to myself, "At least I'm not fleeing zombies on top of everything." This show has gotten a little too engrained in my soul.

I know a modicum of suspension of disbelief is required to watch a show about the zombie apocalypse, but does it bother anyone else that in hot as shit Georgia, multiple cars, trucks, and vans still have full tanks of gas, and fully inflated tires!? Really? None of that gas and air has evaporated? Not to mention, no one is overly concerned about hygiene. Everyone may stink, but they always look relatively clean, and have new clean clothes. Except for Rick. He's keeping it real. That grey t-shirt he wears once was white.

My problem is with the actual zombies. Let's say it was possible for zombies to exist, wouldn't they decompose quickly in the southern heat that they wouldn't be mobile within days of death?

I was never more stressed for Beth than on TD. Someone on the show mentioned, why are all their teeth all...there? I'm alive and have more dental issues.
