I always liked jon's mopey ass. Maybe bc kit's cute. Jon won't be the same if he comes back as another actor.

Until this season, I would have agreed that Kit Harington was easily the weakest amongst the core cast. In his defense, the bar is set very high on GoT, with even small roles often played to perfection. Also, the character of Jon is difficult to portray. It's very internalized and has little of the flash that the more colourful characters possess in spades. But I think he really stepped it up this season.
Iwan Rheon is fantastic but looks a little too psychotic to play Jon. Joe Dempsie and Harry Lloyd (Viserys Targaryen) would have been interesting choices though.

There are and always have been an impressive number of very fine young actors on the show. Jack Gleeson and Maisie Williams are particularly mind-blowing.
And I miss Richard Madden so, so, much. The guy can work a close-up like the movie stars of Hollywood's Golden age.
I understand why D&D increased the size of his role.

I was reading somewhere that "Jon Snow" might be dead, but Jon might come back from the dead realizing who he really is, be that "Jon Azor-Ahai" or "Jon Targaryen" or "Jon Fuck-you-I-refuse-to-stay-Dead".

That's a thought. I may be misremembering, but there was a pretty big clue in a previous episode where Maester Armon said "kill the boy so the man can be reborn. I believe this was preceded by a very obviously set up scene where Aemon and Sam were talking about the Targaryens and li and behold, in walks Jon as if on cue. All that was missing was Jon having a line like "did somebody mention Targaryens?"

All that was missing was Jon having a line like "did somebody mention Targaryens?" It feels like they were peppering all sorts of clues like that - kill the boy so the man can be reborn. Jon might be a Targaryen. And then there was Sam telling Olly that Jon "always comes back."

It would have been a bigger clue if dumb and dumber had actually shown the many prophecies Dany saw in the House of the Undying instead of showing what didn't happen, Drogo and Rhaego in the tent. One of the clues was the blue flowers Lyanna Stark was given by Rhaegar during a tourney blooming out of the Wall. Then again the only mention of her was Littlefinger telling Sansa about her.

Only six years ago, these major cast members looked like babies. I like the adorkable look of the Kit Harington of six years ago. And although she's 12 in this photo, Masie looks like she's about eight.
