Thanks for the clarification on Hook. I wasn't fully paying attention during the Hook backstory episode, so I missed the part where they said that he and his brother were from our land. I just assumed they were from the part of FTL that looked like 18th century England.
I noticed that about Snow in the preview, so I hope you're right. I'm over the amnesia storylines on this show.
It will be interesting to see how Storybrooke gets recreated (in the preview, they showed what looked like Storybrooke Belle asking, "who cursed us?"). I like Storybrooke, so I hope it's not gone forever.

I guess that's possible...but it really seems like it was 18th century England in RL. The thing about Neverland is that a lot of it dealt with children and adults from RL and were transported to Neverland.
It seems to me that both Peter Pan and Rumple are from RL, too. Both traveled to Neverland from a magical bean and when Rumple sent Bae away, it was to England. Remember, Bae was found by the Darlings and then taken to Neverland where he was dropped by Pan's shadow into the water where the Jolly Roger was sailing nearby.
It explains why the curse itself was so focused on RL. It would allow Gold/Rumple to be in the place where he sent his son, it would be the place where there are no happy endings because magic didn't really exist there (well, at least not in general) and it was where a lot of sadness was for everyone connected to the Rumple/Charmings family line.
Eh, at least that's my theory anyway.

I'm pretty sure that Rumple (and Bae) are from the Enchanted Forest. After his father became Peter Pan, little Rumple was sent back to where he was from and raised by the spinsters. That's where he married Milah and had Bae. The Blue Fairy gave Bae a magic bean to send him to "a land without magic" (our world), which means that the land that he and his father are from was a land with magic (FTL).

I just caught up on 2 seasons worth of this show. I really enjoyed the first half of season 1, now it's too complicated and not so charming. I kind of hate Belle and her one facial expression of disbelief and wish she wasn't on the show as much. I also hate Rumple and his giggling and I don't find Bae/Neal attractive enough to warrant him good enough for Emma. I love all of season 3 Regina and Hook's quips though. Why is Peter Pan so scary?! I'm not looking forward to more of "let's convince Emma fairy tales are real" storyline but I am curious as to how the writers are going to get out of this plot they've cornered themselves into.

Michael Socha, aka the Knave/Will Scarlet from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, is apparently joining the original recipe show. I guess I'll need to binge watch the first 3 seasons of OUAT to prepare! Entertainment Weekly

I quit Wonderland after a few episodes, but I'm glad he's joining the original show. He was the best part of Wonderland for me.

I gave up on Wonderland after the first episode. Didn't care.
I'm holding onto the original for dear life, and it's still making me grind my teeth (I was feeling some frustration during last season).

The show lost an opportunity by casting Charles Mesure as someone other than Hook's father. The resemblance between them is utterly striking.
ETA: Loved the little wink at the musical version of "Wicked."

I'm curious about this new storyline in the second half of the show. It could be interesting in a way they bring all the characters full circle.
I always wondered if Cora slept with Rumple and that Zelina (sp?) is really the product of that pairing. It would explain her vast powers prior to any instruction from Rumple. My guess is if that's true, he's well aware of it.
Props for them using the Silver Slippers which are true to the original story and can tell WB to suck it with their whole "Ruby Slippers" copyright nonsense. If the Wicked Witch is able to go back in time and jack up the timeline, that would impact a lot of things, including Snow ever meeting Charming and allowing Emma to be born and all things related to the curse to ever take place...

Hook knows something. I think he somehow has knowledge of the future - he hugged Neal because he already knew Neal would use dark magic and is dead, he told Emma that perhaps there was someone she loved in the world she lost because he already knows they're together. He made some deals along the way; I'm virtually certain one of which is giving up the Jolly Roger to get the memory potion and go get Emma.
