They’re still married? They’ve been off my radar for awhile.
Which begs the question, they still married?

Yes, famvir, they are - for some reason.

Yes, famvir, they are - for some reason. I like to imagine it's because JLo had a little shock collar surgically attached to Ben and it's set to go off if he's more than 4ft away from her. After he humiliated her the first time, there is no way she's going to allow him to do it again ... or you know ... let THE LOVE OF A LIFETIME get away.

They are kinda like a real life version of what the writers from How I Met Your Mother were trying to accomplish with Ted/Robin. I dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Except JLo might be the Ted in this scenario?

I ran across a JLo movie I'd never heard of, called Second Act. It was such a classic JLo role and kind of a throwback to the 80s/90s movies in the vein of Secret of My Success or Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Granted, I find myself in a mood for fluffy entertainment these days after a very difficult year, but it was a fun, mindless watch. Hands down the best part of it though was that Leah Remini played her best friend and their scenes together are so fun and natural, like you're watching them in real life.

I'm due for a re-watch of Out of Sight. The combo of her best acting + trunk scene = cinematic perfection!

I'm due for a re-watch of Out of Sight. The combo of her best acting + trunk scene = cinematic perfection! That movie is so good. Easily one of my top 10 favs. Whatever teeny-tiny part of me doesn't loathe J-Lo is because of that film. I really wish she'd continued with acting and acting only - I honestly think she does/did have talent in that department. Of course, she was such a diva on that set and on Selena that she had no choice but to pursue something else.

I wish she could've just stuck with acting, her singing is so subpar. To me, JLo wanted to be a triple threat, while I used to make fun of her dancing on In Living Color!

I watch Monster-in-Law every time it’s on. Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda are fantastic together.
It’s like Sliding Doors, the only Paltrow movie I like, but I like it a lot (it could be John Hannah…)

If she had put all that energy into acting, I really do think that she could have really been stellar. But she had to be a triple threat and ended up mastering none.
I'm with you on Sliding Doors - that and Sky Captain are the only two movies of Paltrow's I can stand.
