But why is that her fault?

I think Kanye is a barking lunatic. I really think he has some major issues and I would feel bad for him, but he needs to leave that Amber lady alone. I'm glad he apologized. When does Kim get to live down her sex tape? Was it a real apology? Or a vague, off-hand indirect one? Nowhere have I read the words "I'm Sorry" just simply that he won't talk about other peoples kids again. Which in Kanye's world is (I guess) what passes for an apology. But if it had been my kid that he's talked smack about, that would definitely not be enough.

But why is that her fault? Because she married someone with a conveniently spotty memory who likes getting into twitter fights? It's not really her fault, but it's not reasonable to expect people not to call Kanye on his hypocrisy.

When does Kim get to live down her sex tape? The current Kardashian Brand was launched off the buzz around that sex tape. It's pretty much her legacy. IMO, it's not even in the top five most embarrassing things she's ever done- but yeah it's going to come up to haunt her from time to time.

There's something about how it always gets brought up and thrown in her face that just doesn't sit well with me. It was a long time ago and while that may have made her famous, she's built a brand since then. I just get really antsy about women's sexual pasts/histories/decisions being held up as evidence of anything forever.
I was under the impression he apologized. He is very wrong to go after her, and her kid. If he didn't apologize, then he should. It's bizarre behavior, on top of being vulgar.

Honestly, compared to most Greecies I probably qualify as a Kardashian apologist. I just don't see any way around the fact that as long as Kanye brings up other women's sexual history, then Kim's will be brought up in return. I was under the impression he apologized. He is very wrong to go after her, and her kid. If he didn't apologize, then he should. It's bizarre behavior, on top of being vulgar. He gave a weaksauce apology for bringing Wiz and Amber's son into it, but my understanding is that he has never apologized for any of the things he's said about Amber Rose, including all the times he's slammed her for her sexual past.

People always say Kim is famous because of her sex tape, but I don't think that's true at all. Ray J was a nobody, not someone who could get a girl famous by being filmed having sex with her. She didn't get a reality show because of the sex tape. A lot of her fans now, especially the younger women, have probably never even seen that tape. In my opinion her fame has to do with good timing (especially where social media is concerned) and lots of smart marketing/publicity, and little to nothing to do with her sexual history.

I think people could call out Kanye on his hypocrisy without bringing up the sex tape Kim made with her boyfriend over a decade ago. Plenty of strippers who have hung with Kanye have been publicly coming for him for his statements. I think we're mostly getting played with this controversy anyway. ( Link to Kim's recent Instagram pic hanging with Amber.) Honestly? I always forget she has one until it's brought up again as a hit against her or her husband. It's also sad that I see a lot of chatter (not so much here) about how... promiscuous the Kardashian women are which, who cares if they are, but in reality they appear to all be into serious relationships, it's just that the guys they date are very messy. They're all either crazy (Kanye), tragic addicts (Omar, Scott), or pedo groomers (Tyga).

Black women get shamed for their sexuality a lot more than white women do. White women can sleep with whomever and they get married and it's all good. But black women are the ones call THOT and shit like that (just listen to NWA lyrics). I mean they talk about Karrine Steffans like a dog.

Plenty of strippers who have hung with Kanye have been publicly coming for him for his statements. If people were randomly throwing her past in her face, I'd agree it's uncalled for. But how do you point out that Kanye is being a hypocrite without pointing out the facts? Kanye ridiculed Wiz based on his ex and mother of his child being a stripper, when his own wife has her own public sex scandel (worse than being a dancer imo) It's kinda like if Tiger Wood's ex started throwing shade at Hillary Clinton. If Kim doesn't want her past indiscretions constantly being brought up, than maybe she should muzzle her husband and get him to stop slut shaming other women - because that stuff always comes back to bite you in your sizeable photoshopped butt implants.
