Could someone please use "what's good" in context? I am a middle-aged, Canadian, white woman - this expression is foreign to me and I wish to learn more. Thank you. I guess a cleaned-up and simplified version would be if someone (person A) finally runs into someone they've heard was talking smack behind their back. Extremely negative crap. Now, when person A sees person B (the smack talker) they want to see if that person is going to have the balls to say that same crap to their face. For example, "What's good, Miley? aka "You got something to say to my face?" Which sometimes leads to --Run-up, get done up.

So after being completely slaughtered by Remy Ma in Shether, Nicki's lame ass comes back with a diss over a week later, on a collab with Drake and Wayne and couldn't even say Remy's name? Stick a fork in this talentless hack, she is done. You cannot call yourself the Queen of Rap if you cannot spit bars.

Sigh. She would have been better off never responding at all. The heat was completely off her. People were starting to move on. Thanks for the reminder, chump. Congratulations Nicki, you played yourself.

I still like Nicki, but the Remy Ma feud is very entertaining to me. And yeah, I agree that she should have just not responded at all. She didn't have to.

Actually she did. If her wack ass is going to claim she is the Queen, she needs to spit the bars to prove it. Record sales don't mean shit in hip hop, it's bars and being able to take down anyone in a battle. She threw subliminals first so she should've expected the diss. Remy at least bodied her ass and said her name multiple times not that subliminal crap either.

I know Drake is her label mate, but the fact that she brought in Drake on this diss track when Drake had bodied her ex Meek Mill two years ago is wack. ( P.S. I read rumors that Nicki put Meek up to starting that beef in the first place.) ETA: I really appreciated this line from " SheTHER": I never understood why Nicki started beefing with Mariah so publicly (while they were on American Idol) in the first place. Aside from Eminem (who has made it clear why he's been throwing shots), I can't recall anyone else in hip-hop coming for Mariah like that.

Random, and not confined to the hip-hop world, but I do know that Madonna pretty much hates Mariah (and vice-versa). One story goes that she had her staff provide her with regular updates on Mariah's flop ticket sales for her tour (circa 2005).

I'm surprised the brother story has not been bigger news. She continued to support him, financially and otherwise, and I believe she and her mother were trying to paint his wife as some sort of extortionist. She very well may have been one, and a crappy mother for all I know, but the EIGHT year old brother walked in on his 11 year old sister being raped by their step father, AND there was DNA evidence. I mean, at some point you have to admit someone you love has a problem and has crossed a line that you need to walk away from.
