Hannibal mention that last season to Tobias Budge when they were talking about composing. Now that you mention it I remember him saying that. At the time I was thinking "Of *course* Hannibal owns a harpsichord..." I wish we had a scene in which Alana told Freddie, "I'll have you know that Dr. Lecter showed me his Theremin last night..." only have Freddie roll her eyes and say "Jesus, Dr. Bloom, you're a grown-ass woman and you can't say 'penis'?"

Ha! I was wondering if poor Fuller would ever see one of his shows make it past two seasons. Good. Shit is getting seriously weird on this show and I need to know where they are going with this.

You know you've screwed up in life when you gross out Hannibal Lechter.

So if they are not doing Red Dragon until season 4, what are they going to do next season? They can't prolong catching Hannibal much longer. Nice to see more people are starting to wise up.
Not sure how I feel about Michael Pitt as Mason. He seems a bit too over the top for this show. On the other hand I've liked him in other things but he has always seemed a bit mumbly. It's nice to see him play a part with some energy. And his hair is hilarious. Oddly enough I had heard about the ortolan and the eating ritual before. American Dad had a subplot about it in an episode a few seasons ago.

I was dying of laughter during Mason's therapy sessions, mostly because Hannibal looked like it was taking everything he had not to just sautee the guy. Actually, Mads just killed it all around this episode, because the scene where Hannibal talks about his sister was also great.

In that scene it is clear that Mason thinks he's the toughest and most powerful man in the room. Meanwhile hannibal is thinking, "My murder suit is at the cleaners, dammit..."
The torments that Margot and that little kid at the stable went through were hard to watch. Because that stuff really happens; especially by people raised to be little caligulas by their over privileged enabling parents. Then again, the elder verger got his jollies mutilating the show pigs of 4H kids.
Can't wait to see mason get what's coming to him....

"I prayed I would see Abigail again"
-- "Your prayer did not go entirely unanswered. You saw part of her"
Yeah, barfing up her ear probably isn't the reunion Will had in mind.

Man, I am constantly amazed that this show still has the ability to make me yell "Oh my God, Hannibal you DICK" at the screen... that line was definitely one such moment.
