I really enjoyed this season and felt like some stories lines were cleared up or advanced to allow for the next season. After all, they know they're clones and know more of their history now, so there has to be some other element to drive the story forward. Poor Helena. But on the other hand, poor whomever is taking her. I can't see them holding her for long. I wonder if they're going to try mating the male and female clones, since Helena is the other likely fertile one. I also like who they chose to be the male clone. At first I thought it was going to be Paul, but I like this option more. He seems like he'll be able to play both emotionless military and complete psycho. I'm curious if the religious clone knows he's a clone. I definitely think Rachel comes back with an eye patch. I actually like that for as cold and controlled as she comes across, she's actually incredibly emotional. It's been interesting seeing these breaks. I think it does stem from being self-aware for so long and then finding out there's another clone who is unique in some way. She's so tightly controlled that when something unplanned/unexpected pops up, it completely throws her. Loved the technical bits of the finale, with both the clone dance party and the scene of Sarah and Cosima in bed with their hands interacting.

I loved this season because it was all over the place; just when I thought I knew what was going on, they surprised me. I hate it when I can figure out what's going to happen in a show.
Loved the clone dance party.
Glad the male clone wasn't Felix; I would have turned the TV off had it been him.

I agree the season was a bit all over the place but for the most part it worked for me. The show will need to be careful not to get too bogged down in it's own mythology though (ie the last few seasons of The X-Files).
I've always suspected there were male clones so I wasn't surprised when Marion said the military had male clones. I was surprised by who the male clone is though! I expected it to be either Felix or Paul. Was not expecting Mark! The only person who would have been more shocking would have been Art!
I suspect Mark is a "mistake" clone like Sarah and Helena. Henrik only welcomed Helena to the "family" because she was able to bear children. He linked fertility to having a soul. No way he would have been fine Gracie marrying a infertile male clone. Needless to say I'm of the opinion Mark knows what he is. That might have been why he went AWOL.
Helena really can't catch a break can she? Raised by religious fanatics who turned her into a killer. Manipulated into killing her "sisters". Actual twin sister shoots her (though I understand why). "Married" to a crazed cult leader. Reunite with sister only for her to abandon her. Manipulated back to cult so they can use her eggs for their own purposes. Escapes only to be traded to army by twin sister's foster mom. I wonder what the army wants with Helena though? Do they want to harness her killer skills? Or do they want to use her to make super clones?
I still don't trust Cal. The more the show pushes the Sarah/Cal are star crossed lovers angle the more I suspect they are attempting to pull the wool over the audience's eyes. Either Dyad has the worst computer security ever or he's lying about how obtained his information. Also, who jumps to the conclusion of clones based on a child's drawings? Thinking Sarah is part of a set of quads? Sure. But clones? Plus, he's running around with fake IDs and has a military connection. I do think he truly cares about Kira though.
And yeah Rachel will definitely be back rocking an eye patch. She'll probably order the scientists to make her an eye though. I did feel bad for her when Duncan killed himself though. "I'm afraid you don't deserve me!" Damn that's cold!
I also enjoyed the dance party! Of course, we had to know there was no way the writer would allow happiness and sweetness to last!

Ok the finale has been aired, which means I can finally start watching this season. What? I like to binge watch.

I forgot Sarah's mom gave Helena up... that suck balls. Boy, are they gonna be pissed when they find out she doesn't have any eggs anymore, she left them all frozen at Felix's.
Seems to me that if Rachel wants an eye there are plenty of clones she can steal one from. I think she's dead though... that pencil was pretty well imbedded in her skull.

The sounds they play when she's about to mess someone up is like the theme from Jaws. Stuff's going down.

It was hard to stay away from this thread until I was able to watch this episode, but I'm glad I kept myself spoiler-free. And after reading the thread, several things were explained for me so thank you Greecies! I was all about the vat of nitrogen, I did not remember what is was for and was trying to figure out why Helena was trying to poison or blow up her sisters. With Nitrogen. lol. And I thought Cal's explanation of his Dark Net research was so lame that I had missed something, but maybe not. Unless that was a dumb cover story for how much access he actually has because he is more involved than anyone knows. It was kind of a mess, but overall I love the show. I hope they stop killing characters, jeez. Dr. Leakey, Church Farm leader, and Duncan could have had interesting storylines and motivations even as the show goes in a different direction. Good catch about Keira and Cosima on the bed, did Kiera help heal her in some small way? Interesting. And I LOVE the idea of Rachel coming back with an eye patch. Next season...because there is a next season, right?...I'd like to see relationships develop a little more. Donnie and Allison, Fee and Sara getting close again, Paul and Sara, Kiera and her Dad. I'll go with the male clone storyline as long as they keep me caring about the characters. I am warming up to Rachel since they gave her more of a backstory, but if they keep killing people and throwing in new plots like the male clones the relationship stories will suffer. With this and Continuum ending, I need some new sci-fi for the summer. I am trying to like Defiance but have not gotten past the first six or so episodes on Amazon. Oh well. Dr. Who will start soon and then before you know it Sleepy Hollow will be back.

There is no way she won't get nominated this year. And yet, she didn't. Absolutely ridiculous snub, while Downton Abbey continues to pile up undeserved nominations.

I don't even watch the show but I know of it and recognize how difficult her role is. I watched Tricia Helfer have to do the same thing in Battlestar Galactica.
It's an asinine snub.
