I can't believe that Crane made a Glee reference. Glee probably had to pay them for it, too.

I'm wondering if there is something cryptic in Irving holding on to the card Henry gave him for his "practice". It read, "Parrish & Cypher" and just seeing the word Cypher should be a hint that something is hidden beneath the surface.
I love how much Crane has ties with every political and prominent figure in American history, too. It just makes it all more fantastical. But I'm all on the Reyes has something up her sleeve camp. She may have given Abbie the records from her mom's stay in the psych ward, but she could be just as torn about her evilness as John Cho's character is/was.

She may have given Abbie the records from her mom's stay in the psych ward, but she could be just as torn about her evilness as John Cho's character is/was. See, I didn't even give Reyes that much credit. I figured giving Abbie the file was just to distract her from investigating Reyes any further- and also, Reyes could have altered some facts in that folder. Evil! I tells you Evil all the way!! (Of course, I was all suspicious of the Super!Good Irving for the longest time and didn't pick up on any badness in Henry til he was nearly destroying the whole Purty Pack that is the Sleepy Hollow cast... So I admit to not always being the best judge of character...) I didn't think about Henry's card being something Irving (or someone) would have to Cypher... but knowing this show, that's exactly what they'll have to do. I got stuck on Cypher as being the last name of Robert DeNero's character in Angel Heart. And his first name was Louis so hardy har har there. But this show is all about Moloch and not Lucifer (or even Louis Cypher) so surely I'm barking up the wrong tree there. But Parrish is a pretty funny name for Henry/Jeremy to pick. It could also mean 'PERISH!!!!' Blah ha ha Doom!Cakes!!! I'm sure there are clues there all around. But in the meantime- I'll just rely Crane or the Mills Sisters to solve them while I sit back and enjoy the Purty!

Oh Ichabod, first your watching Glee and now you want a role in the next Fast and Furious movie. That was... kinda hot. (And no, it's not usually my sort of thing!) So was the cappuccino bit. Very cool episode. I liked the camera work during the "trance". And Hawley can stay, even though he's a bit too Han Solo - what was Crane's line, "a mercenary who only cares about money"? And man, I thought John Noble was creepy as Walternate, but "Henry" is way beyond!

Well, looks like Jenny is a decent driving instructor : )
That was a good, and very creepy twist on the Pied Piper!

I'm not fond of this Hawley fellow. I don't like his role of Mr. Exposition/Answer Guy who oh so conveniently knows about every mystic artifact's legendary history, what it's for and how to stop it. It takes away from the detective work Crane and Abbie used to have to do with Sheriff Corbin's notes- or in brain storming sessions with Jenny. I hope he either gets killed off soon or starts to serve a different purpose... Because I liked it when Crane and Abbie had to solve things.
My Godson just turned 16... and so I felt Abbie's absolute terror at Crane getting behind the wheel all too well. Still, he does pretty well for a guy who recently couldn't even figure out the door locks.
And Betsy Ross had the total hots for Ichabod? Well, of course she did! We're luck we didn't wind up with a flag embroidered with 'I *HEART* Ichabody!!!' Heh... then again... I wish I had a gif of Ichabod snapping his fingers and grooving on the sound of silence with his super earplugs. Just the look on his face was perfection (Waves I HEART Ichabody flag proudly)
Rambo!Irving is also perfection! More of that in dream sequence or reality please!! We just need him fighting on the side of Good instead of Evil... but in either case Rambo!Irving can stay!!
What's Henry doing with that bone? Something EVVVVIIIIILLL!!!! no doubt... Although if he just wanted to crush it up and taste it- that would be hilarious too.
No Jenny? WAAAAAAAH!!! No Katrina? YAY!!! Although no Katrina also means no Headless/Shirtless Horseman. I wish he'd quit moping over her and go off and be badass again! He could face off against Rambo!Irving and it would be Awesome!! So awesome Betsy Ross would chase them both into the broom closet overcome with lust! Really, I suppose we're lucky to have a flag design at all! Between Ichabod and Shirtless!Bram there were lots of distractions for the poor woman. Hee.

I think Orlando Jones referred to himself as Rambro on Twitter. Loved it, either way.

Finally got caught up. My big question is, what happened to the Kindred? Considering it was constructed using the Horseman's head, it doesn't make sense that it was just a Superweapon of the Week, never too be seen again. I'm thinking it's a Checkhov's Gun and will turn up in the finale.
Second: "not dead which eternal lie, stranger aeon, death may die." Love the Lovecraft and/or Metallica shout out.
Shallow note: Tom Mison's Ichabod just gets hotter by the second, doesn't he?

Next episode features a angry vengeful ghost, just in time for Halloween. Thank goodness this awkward threesome issue has finally been settled.
