According to her, it was easier to come out as transgender than to come out as a Republican. My eyes cannot roll enough. Well, Caitlyn, it's probably because people understand that you didn't decide to be transgender. You just are. They are confused as to why you decided to join a group of people who do a lot to hold people like you down. That's why they give you a harder time about it. She did speak at the RNC today, at some sort of tent-brunch or in a brunch-tent. I don't know - something with brunch and a tent.

Caitlyn, consider what it says about your party that the biggest celebrity at the RNC had to speak in a tent.

Caitlyn, consider what it says about your party that the biggest celebrity at the RNC had to speak in a tent. Yes, and while she was about a mile away in a tent from the actual convention, Ben Carson was actually inside the building calling being transgender "the height of absurdity". Yes, doctor, I'm sure Caitlyn and others like her just woke up one morning and decided, "Oh, what the heck - I'm transgender! It seems like fun!" Caitlyn also said that she is a Republican because she believes in the Constitution - obviously buying into the GOP line that Obama walks all over the Constitution and constantly overreaches (which...no. Also, these "overreaches" by Obama and the Supreme Court have helped the LGBT community with stuff like marriage equality).

Oh I agree with Caitlyn on this one, I would be scared shitless to come out in Hollywood as a Republican.

But she's not Hollywood. She's a former Olympic athlete and reality star. There are lots of conservative folks in those worlds.

I'm not surprised either. While her crew of girlfriends (whom she clearly only interacted with during filming and probably didn't so much as exchange a text message with the as soon as the cameras left - with the possible exception of Candis) were charming, the show mostly just highlighted how Caitlin is kind of the worst.
