GOOD. How much you wanna bet he keeps lying about her. Or he’ll just get his cult to do it for him.

Maybe The Donald will finally learn that "grab 'em by the pussy" and then lie about it is not a brilliant idea.
Editing to add my prediction: His dementia will lead him to call E Jean Carroll a liar *again*, and that will be the signal that somehow he has scraped together to cover the fine.

Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses That's terrifying. I've driven across that bridge, my mom lived in Baltimore for over 30 years, and still has lots of friends there. As far as I know, everyone I know there is safe. But that's going to be a traffic disaster for years.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, I now live elsewhere. But the Key Bridge being gone is practically apocalyptic for Baltimore. For starters, that's a large chunk of the 695 Beltway gone, which will make traffic a disaster. The other arteries to and from Baltimore are mostly tunnels that go under the harbor, which don't have anywhere near the capacity of a bridge. Baltimore is also still a major shipping port, albeit not what it once was, and this will have a huge impact on shipping, since it means trucks that picked up cargo from the docks won't be able to get there easily.
If this had happened at rush hour, you could easily be looking at hundreds dead. I'm hoping for the best for the construction crews and other people who were on the bridge at the time of the collapse.

NPR is reporting that the ship sent out a mayday after losing power, and that caused the bridge authorities to stop oncoming traffic, reducing the number of cars on the bridge even more.

I just read a headline "Key Bridge closed to traffic". For those wondering whether or not the bridge that's in a giant heap in the harbor was still going to be drivable for their commute today.
I hope the Search & Rescue team makes a lot of miraculous rescues. Netflix disaster documentaries have taught me it's always possible.

There are going to be major economic repercussions from this accident. The port will be closed until the waterway is cleared. Hazmat is transported on this route since it's not allowed in the several tunnels that pass under the river. Baltimore is the second largest port on the east coast and (I've read) the only one that can take cars and supertankers.

Philly also has roll on/off capabilities and it has said they're able to manage the increase due to the reroute. NY/NJ and Boston also have that capability as well as the ability to take supertankers. I only know about Boston cause there was a ton of hullabaloo over LNG tankers carrying, ahem, cargo that can explode and cause giant fires, and people who were in the radius were like "ummm wait.. what?"
