She killed the MET ball theme tonight with her Zac Posen creation. Flawless.

Yes, I have to give her a lot of credit because it seemed like most of the attendants didn't even try again, or if they did almost all of them assumed that metal or shiny=futuristic.
It's a shame too because this is the one of the few times a year that they can get away with wearing just about anything and so many play it safe and/or wear something that has no connection to the theme at all.

This dress was perfection, lit and unlit. Well done, Zac Posen.

Best dress of the night IMO. She must have come later because I didn't see her when I was watching E last night.

It was awesomely Disney Cinderella fairy princess transformation Halloween costume of my 5-year old dreams! I wish somebody had come in something that made them look like a character in Tron. Or a Stormtrooper costume. Or literally as C3PO.

Yeah it's weird how so many of the attendees' stylists (cuz, let's be real, if you're famous enough to get a Met invite, you probably aren't dressing yourself) took the technology theme and went with the most dated, clunky looking metallic/plastic pieces. That Zac Posen dress looks a bit like a retread of what he put Doutzen Kroes in for the 2010 Met Gala, but I still love how whimsical and pretty Claire's dress is. I like the idea that technology will enable fashionistas to easily relive their childhood. Because what little kid wouldn't wanna prance around in a glow-in-the-dark dress?

The fact that Lainey despises this dress (and the praise it's getting seems to enrage her) makes me love it even more.

It looks a little Girl on Fire to me, but she carries it off well.

This is amazing. Love it. Hate all the rest of the Glam-bot looks.
