If people didn't want to believe Janice Dickinson, perhaps SVU actress Michelle Hurd's account will help. She wasn't assaulted, but posted on Facebook about her experience as a stand-in on The Cosby Show, and how inappropriately he acted. What's worse is that she says another actress (stand-in?) told her about being drugged and assaulted by Cosby.

I just finished reading this entire thread. Wow. He has been getting away with this crime for a very long time. May the public shitstorm continue unabated (since it seems like all legal avenues for recourse are dead.) Damn.

This is from Cracked, my favorite "comedy" website that always offers up a unique perspective Why We All Ignored the Bill Cosby Rape Charges 10 Years AgoI'm not sure that I totally agree with the writer, but still it's an interesting perspective on why we seemed to have our collective blinders on for Cosby, Polanski, and Allen.

Ah, remember being young in the '80s when Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson were the hot guys whose posters might be on your bedroom wall, and Bill Cosby was your pretend TV dad? I always wanted Stephen and Elise Keating to be my parents. (But the Cosby girls totally could have been my BFFs)

Is Bill Cosby the Jimmy Saville of the USA? Prob not as bad since Jimmy was rumoured to have molested corpses at the hospital he volunteered at. However all the horrible crimes he committed came out in public after his death, so his hundreds of victims couldn't get justice. Bill Cosby should be brought to account regardless of his age or status, before it's too late. Rolf Harris was jailed for rape and he's in his 80's I used to love watching his kids show when I was 10, I never would have thought he was a sexual predator. Seems there were a lot of famous men back in the 60's and 70's who thought they could get away with taking advantage of young girls and get away with it. There's even a horrific story of UK politicians involved in a secret paedophile ring where young boys were murdered during their "abuse parties" which will no doubt be covered up some how.

angelaudie - That link to what was supposed to be Lisa Bonet's Twitter profile now says the account has been suspended. Is it suspended because it's fake and the real Lisa complained or is it real and Lisa is being overwhelmed on social media? Hmm... I'm glad Michelle Hurd came forward. I'm thinking this is less about white or black, and more about Bill Cosby just taking advantage and helping himself to young, impressionable women period. ETA: I only mentioned Tiger Woods in the context of the avalanche of women coming forward to call him out is like this avalanche of women coming forward to call Bill Cosby out. It seems like every day there is a new story from a new woman. It would be comical if it were so sad and outrageous. That's where the similarities end. I can't speak as to why these women are coming forward. Apparently, these women weren't among the ones whom Cosby had paid off previously because they're talking now. It's obviously too late for Cosby to give them money to shut up. The cat's out of the bag.

I really don't think too much will happen. I was sitting with a group of women today and all of them were saying they think the women just want money. All of them did say that Cosby cheated on his wife; one even said she always saw him at the Playboy club with different women. They didn't believe he drugged the women either; I said that he probably spiked their drinks.
But the issue is that a lot of people don't believe the women, they think they're out for money because, "why talk now, it's not like he can go to prison."
Though I believe Janice Dickinson, my problem with her is that she makes everything about her; and a lot of times I feel she'll do anything to stay relevant. I believe her because I have always felt that many of these models get passed around from powerful man to powerful man, like candy; especially in the 60's, 70's and 80's. I wonder if she's reaching out to other victims?
I can't compare this to Tiger Woods, because Woods didn't rape anybody; it wasn't criminal what he did, it wasn't moral but it wasn't a felony. The only thing Woods did wrong was to get married and fool around; had he not been married, he would have been Derek Jeter.
