Fuck Jill Scott. How many women was it going to take for her and other dumbasses to believe them? It took only for him in his own words to admit it for her to validate 40 + women? Because so many women will go against their gender, rather than go against their race. But still, many of the women raped were black. Over on Lipstick Alley, there are a bunch of trolls posters still trying to make excuses for him and some trying to slam the victims. ( Well, why would you go up to his room anyway? Maybe it's because you're looking for fame/money/etc.) How does one explain Beverly Johnson's story then? (According to her, she acknowledged he didn't rape her, but he did slip her a controlled substance to try to knock her out.) (By the way, some refer to him over there as "Pill Cosby".) I can see wanting to stick up for one's people. Yes, black men are disproportionately vilified and scapegoated in this society, including when they are innocent. I get it. Yet, in this instance, the black community does not need to (still) be caping for Bill Cosby. He is on his own. Enty supposedly revealed a blind item about Cosby recently.

What folks don't get is that many of these rapes happened in the 60's and 70's and Cosby was a HUGE star back then. My understanding is some of the women went there because he was a mentor to them; I think one woman said they were supposed to talk about comedy. But, even if you did go up to a man's room for some nookie, he shouldn't DRUG you. I mean that's a serious issue. What if one of those women had died?

All predators choose their victims wisely - at the time, I'm sure he chose women who were below him socially, emotionally and financially and needed his help or his support or connections for their careers. I'm sure he also chose women he knew would be too scared to come forward or were perceived as a little crazy (I'm thinking Janice Dickinson in particular) at the time so would definitely be harder to believe. It's too much that he did this to one victim - the numbers should not have to reach into triple digits before the authorities would believe them.

Oh, wow! Read this. I was wondering how the testimony just came to light and this article answers it. The judge specifically refers to Cosby's donning "the mantle of a public moralist" to classify him as a public servant, a class of people who "give up some of the privacy protections afforded to regular citizens or even public figures."

See, that's why I think all of this came to light. As I said, Cosby's not wrong with what he said, but he's the WRONG person to say it.

D'oh! I don't have cable! Can someone report back on what Rachel Maddow says? I hope this finally blows up in his face. MSNBC's official The Rachel Maddow Show's website has the segment up. Rachel interviewed the reporter that broke the story. The reporter said they only have a fraction of Cosby's deposition. Makes you wonder what other things Cosby admitted to the AP haven't gotten their hands on yet!

Or he who is without sin casting the first stone? Back in the 80s or 90s, it was easier for him to get away with this (plausible deniability). Not in this era dominated by TMZ.

Well at least Jill Scott is admitting she was wrong. Whoopi Goldberg is still standing by Cosby. Truly despicable.

Jill Scott's apology reminded me of Brian Williams' apology. She really didn't own up to it and pretty much laid the blame of society's history of discrimination against black men. This never was a race issue. It is an issue of a powerful, rich and famous man who used these attributes to drug and rape young women. Scott basically slapped these said women who were brutally violated in the face.

Whoopi Goldberg is still standing by Cosby. Truly despicable. This is the same woman who stepped out in public with her white boyfriend who was wearing blackface. I'm not even getting into the issue of whether one considered it was "rape-rape".
