Oh, Henry. Just shut up and be smart and hot, okay?
His apology was perfect though. I thought it was sincere and showed that despite what he said about sudicide "canceling" someone out, it actually runs deeper than that with him, and probably quite the opposite.
Still totally would. With bells on.

I love Henry Rollins beyond reason (meaning I don't know the dude, so I should have no attachment whatsoever.) His first article is typical hurt, frustrated Henry. He tries to reason everything out not understanding that many people do not respond to reason (especially if they are clinically depressed.)
His second column to the response he received is also typical Henry - truly repentant for the hurt he caused and with a promise to do better. And he will do better. Crush intact. <3

It's not like it was a Twitter post. (I'm not being a big ol' hater, I used to enjoy the dude back in the day, but, c'mon.)

Oh, it's his thing alright. I guess I just don't mind because ultimately he means well. No one is perfect, and some people never can completely turn the corner on this kind of thing. But at least he tries; as a result sometimes he's on point and sometimes he fails. I'll go for the guy that actually tries every time.

When I opened this thread I expected to read about he was dead and that it was a suicide. Dunno why. It never occurred to me that Henry was just writing about it. Despite his exterior he's always come across as mopey and emo to me, like, after setting down his weights, he'd whine about how hard it is to take care of his body.

That's the rumor. I think it was back in the 80's and I doubt it lasted more than one date.

He was good friends with Kennedy, the DJ, and somewhere in her book he confides to her that he and Madonna are dating. But keeping it secret. I don't think they dated for very long. I think he asked Kennedy for advice, but I don't remember.

Oh god. I haven't read Kennedy's book, but she was a virgin and obnoxious, and embarrassing. Dating but keeping it secret sounds like one of those high school mean girl things, like "we can be hi/bye friends."
"He asked Kennedy for advice" is going to be my LOLspot for today.
