I would prefer he sticks to stand-up comedy because that's what he does best. To me, he is one of the funniest people in the whole world.

Comedic gold. His comedy is kind of manic; I wonder if he's subject to maniac episodes in real life. (No way to know for sure; since he seems so intense I wonder if it all can't be just an act.)

I remember him saying in an interview that his kids would tell him NOT to do "voices" when he read them stories. That's interesting that even his kids request that he tone it down. I usually like him in whatever I see him in. To me, he and Steve Martin are my most reliable comic actors (I'm pretending I never heard of Patch Adams). Compared to Jim ("all I have to do is make a distorted funny face and I'm comedy gold!") Carrey and Mike ("I just put in buck teeth, a British accent or cross my eyes and I'm hilarious!") Meyers or Adam ("I look all hang-dog but am on the verge of boiling over with rage!") Sandler -- he's absolutely subtle in his comedy! Oh, and don't get me started on Eddie Murphy and his "A fart will add comedy to any scene!" thing. So, yeah, Robin Williams, to me, at least stretches from role to role.

She isn't a nanny but, yes, there is another woman involved in the Williams divorce.

That's disappointing. I've always loved Robin Williams as a comedian. He and Steve Martin are genuinely funny men without it seeming to be a put-on.

I like Robin Williams, his stand-up is hilarious. He's also had a couple of dramatic parts (Dead Poets Society, Homicide: Life on the Street, and The World According to Garp) that were really well done too. Hell I cried during Awakenings.
However the fact that he's dating a woman in her 20's? Kind of icky. Ok, really icky.
