He was born in New Zealand but he has lived in Australia for most of his life. That makes him Australian to me. It's like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He wasn't born in this country but since he's lived most of his adult life here, I would consider him an American.
But regardless, Russell Crowe is an asshole no matter his nationality.

Oh, those are some tremblingly BAAAAD lyrics. Russell's still in highschool, it seems. I wonder if he wept and thought about how much more deeply he feels things while he wrote this?

I worked with a guy who went out with her in highschool and the date of birth on IMDB is way off. Danielle is 39 going on 40.

Those lyrics suck. Who the fuck does he think wants to listen to that shite?
That totally doesn't surprise me. She's got such an unattractive case of bitch face. Probably from having the very soul sucked out of her by Crowe and being forced to listen to his music.

Yeah can you imagine the sheer effort it takes to put on a serious, touched face when you're dying to bust agut laughing when he rolls out those lyrics?
I wonder if these two will last. I'm not sure I see Russell's ego dealing well with a wife who looks over 40.

My take on it Fox (because I'm tipping you haven't heard enough of me today) is that the Nutcracker is more than happy with Crowe. She was stuck in not-even-C-grade hell before Crowe decided he wanted to come back to Australia and cover the country side with his hell-spawn. All she has to do spit out heirs to the Throne of Arseholery and she's pretty well sorted. Clearly for most normal people, death would be the better option.
Crowe directed the first single off her album, so you know that's going to be quality. It didn't even crack the charts.

Not amused Russell? Shocked, we are, SHOCKED!
Anyway, all this playwright needs to do is go back over a few of Fatboy's old interviews, pick out some choice quotes re: "it's all about my AAAAAART!!!" and roll those out in defense of his play.
Shut yer gob, Chunk.

I like Russell. There are times when I cringe at what he's quoted as saying, but I still like him. He's a terrific actor. I know these days it's popular to attack him, but nevertheless, I still like him.
As far as that article about the playwright, I can't say I blame Crowe for being upset about a play called "Killing Russell Crowe", regardless of what it's about.
I don't think he's all that hot as a singer or musician, but since no one forces me to listen, it doesn't bother me all that much if he wants to record songs.
I know that lots of folks love to snark about him. But given the dearth of interesting actors around these days, he's a breath of fresh air. Not all his films have been successful, but they make an interesting collection. And compared to the boring over-rated Hanks, the mechanical Cruise, and the sleazoid Farrell, Crowe's choices are a much more fascinating.
