I bet that quote was scripted. She and Creepy Pa probably sat around all morning trying to think of the dumbest quote possible until they came up with the thing about Boston men. They both know Jessica can't get attention without playing dumb.
Hasn't she been filming Major Movie Star for like eight months now? I keep hearing about that stupid movie and seeing pics of her on the set.

I don't think she has to play dumb. I don't think she has any shame at being an idiot because she knows the dumb blonde persona is her thing but I don't think she's acting, at all. That's probably one of the few things she's a natural at.
