So much love for this movie!
But yeah -- I don't think it ever did come to my city, sad to say. So I finally got to watch it on DVD a while back and I loved it!
White Castles aren't in Canada anywhere, are they?

I loved that part. I totally couldn't take that actor seriously as a villian on The Shield because of it.

I especially enjoy this film's use of "Crazy on You."

The sequel is being filmed in Shreveport, either now or soon. Supposedly, they make a sidetrip (accidentally, or purposefully) to Guantanamo Bay. I'm going to guess that poor Kumar gets picked up as a terrorist...

There's going to be a sequel?
Sweeeeet. I loved this movie. It should probably be a guilty pleasure, but too many of my other friends like it for me to feel bad about liking it. Although I did nearly die from embarassment the first time I saw it in the theater; my 50 year old, fairly conservatitve aunt was the one that took me to see it, neither of us knowing the level of vulgar humor that would be in it.
"Did Neil Patick Harris just steal my car?"

Oh yeah, there's a sequel. Shreveport is the new "cool" location to film, I suppose. Three or four movies have been through there in the last year.
Anyway, I looove this movie! John Cho and Kal Pen are great, hella cute, and deserve much more work than they're getting (although Kal is the lead in the upcoming drama The Keepsake).

My friend and I saw this after a long, long day of helping another friend move. I'm still shocked that it didn't do better at the bo. I had no desire to see it, but it was in a crowded theater--and everyone was laughing their asses off. Including me. This film was funnier then it had any right to be.
Of course, I'll never get the image of Doogie Howser humping the seat out of my mind.

I absolutely LOVE this movie. It might be my favorite "stupid movie" along with Dumb and Dumber. I also enjoy the use of Crazy on You and Hold On. Brilliant! I can't wait for the sequel!

This is one of my guilty pleasures. "The universe tends to unfold as it should" has been my mantra for the last two years. "Did Doogie Hauser just steal my fucking car!?" "Daddy is not coming on anything!" "Dude, am I really high, or is this actually working?" (ETA quotes)

I often feel dirty for finding the sleazy Doogie totally hot.
