Thank God I'm not the only one who's had that wonderful, awful song stuck in my head. I even tried to download it off iTunes and it's not available. The only way to exorcise this song from my head is to go buy the soundtrack, which I'm not willing to do. Yet.
I like to move it, move it. I like to move it, movie. I like to...MOVE IT!

I guess I'm in the small crowd that also liked the movie. Maybe because I was not fully sober, but I still laughed through the whole thing.

I knew it was going to suck when a heartless and cynical bastard like me didn't even hear about it until it was already released. Usually when an animated flick hits the screen the saturation ad bombing hits and I get sick of it. Now? Nothing.

It was so bad, it wasn't worth being paid to see it.

I didn't think it was that bad. The penguins and the monkeys (word to your mother on the poo-flinging) were freaking hiliarious. But the lion, he grates.

I will admit that my husband and I have been trying to work "If you have any poo, fling it now" into our conversations on a regular basis.

Warning to parents ---- This movie sucks. Not as bad as Shark Tale, but pretty close. When we went to see Shark Tale the kids in the theater were restless and running around, with Madagascar there was a lot silence when there was supposed to be laughter. It just wasn't funny and overall pretty disappointing. ...very disappointing despite all of the hype promoting it! My eleven-year-old agreed it sucked, too. I saw a few days ago that there may be a sequel? ? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh...I liked it...didn't know that it was an unpopular movie-opinion. I admit that I laughed a lot, especially at the penguins, so maybe I just have a weird sense of humor. I think it's more "grown-up" funny, I don't think children will find it too funny.

The penguins have their own short film out before the start of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. I would love to see them star in Madagascar 2. Keep them and the monkeys, everybody else should be left out. Why do they draw the cartoons to look like the voice actors? This is an annoying tread.

I saw that short! Neither I nor the people I went with had seen Madagascar, and we all loved the penguins. Unfortunately, now I need to talk those people out of renting Madagascar.
