I saw the photos and she is talking to the pilot. I thought these days the pilots keep the cockpit door locked?

Foster looks very slender and beautiful in the trailers, but I actually thought she looked significantly older than the last time I saw her. Her skin looked old. I think she looks younger because she's significantly thinner and buffer than she was earlier in her career. Actually, I wish other actresses would look to her for a good weight guide. She lost enough weight to toe the Hollywood line and look slim and sleek in clothes, but she's not in the least bit emaciated.
I'll be at this movie opening weekend because of Jodie, SEAN BEAN, and Peter. And, because I know if I don't see it in the theater I'll end up seeing it on TV the night before I have to fly somewhere and get really freaked out.

It was decent, I thought, but not great. A bit predictable, but maybe that was because so much of the plot was revealed in the trailer. This is NOT a movie you want to watch on an airplane, though. It did do a realistic job of portraying the fear of an inflight catastrophe. Good acting, especially Jodie and Peter.

I quite liked it. I can't say I foresaw the twists; it was more like several plot possibilities occurred to me, and the suspense lay in finding out whether any of them would come to pass.
Some of the logistics looked a bit dubious, and I think there were a few loose ends, but overall it kept me engaged the whole way throughout. The presence of Sean Bean and Peter Sarsgaard didn't hurt none, either.

I was doing fine with it until the Big Reveal, and then I just lost all suspension of disbelief and let it roll over me. It was way too convoluted a plan to pull off, it seemed. And I'm still confused about the Islamic men. She did see them in the apartment, so weren't they lying?[/color]<<
The whole Islamic subplot left me uncomfortable. It's a very post 9/11 film. Jodie, though, was her usual fantastic self.

I thought it was good. Not great, but good. Beanie was hot - he can be my pilot anyday. I just love him.

Loved it. A fantastically well-crafted, solidly acted thriller that has no pretensions of being art but does what it's supposed to do efficiently. Very entertaining fluff that clearly has been embraced by audiences. I'm so glad that the film is a hit, I love Jodie, one of the few non-famewhoring celebrities around.

Man... Peter Sarsgaard has got to be the world's least competent hijacker. However, he still brought the hotness. So did Sean. Jodie was great too. The more I think about this movie, the more I realize how utterly preposterous it was, but I did enjoy the hell out of it. Can't wait for Jarhead!
