Has anybody seen it yet? Does Ethan get a lot of screen time? I want to go next weekend.

Ethan doesn't get that much screentime, but as a non-Hawke fan, I can say he makes the most of his role. I also really loathe Nick Cage but I didn't mind him either. Go figure.
As a whole, I liked it a hell of a lot better than I expected to, but at the same time, I went in expecting a crapfest (my friends dragged me to see it). It was surprisingly dry and funny, and it didn't match the action-y vibe of the trailer at all.
Not a bad flick.

We just saw it today and I liked it. An intriguing story, kind of depressing, but all in all, interesting.
The guy that plays Andre Baptist Sr. (Eammon Walker) is excellent.

It's always a pleasure seeing someone from Oz in other roles.

I really liked this. It's kind of sad in the end, but great film.

I really liked it. But I hated Nic Cages' character, I hated the fact that pulled that psychological crap to get his brother to go with him at the end, after his brother had finally gotten his shit together. The hate. But I did like the movie, the ending made my cry. Poor Vitaly.

Watching this movie was like getting sucker punched again and again (and I mean that in a good way!). The opening sequence is excellent - with the progression of a bullet being made and carted and used all to Buffalo Springfield's For What Its Worth. You start off chuckling at the obvious use of music and then enjoying the cool shots and then... bang a kid gets shot in the head. The same goes for the rest of the movie. You are torn between thinking it is a pretty awesome black comedy, a story of a man trying to rationalize his awful behavior and callous attitude towards everything, and a more traditional cat and mouse story. Then, the ending bits of information go in and floor you all over again. I mean, the information wasn't that new to me, but I hadn't really been thinking of it while watching the movie, so it was incredibly powerful.
I loved Nic Cage but I thought that Leto was miscast. Probably only because I have no idea in what world Cage and Leto are brothers! Cousins? I guess, but brothers? Oh no.
