I just saw a trailer for this last night. Having been a waitress for seven years, I thought it looked hilarious. Also: it features Dane Cook. Game on.

Ew, sorry... I had the opposite reaction. Every possible gross-out cliche is represented in the trailer alone. I can't fathom how much further the bar can be lowered. I thought Freddy Got Fingered had to be the lowest, but now here's a guy shaking his lice onto someone's meal before serving it to her. There's something so depressing about the whole thing...
By the way, I never actually saw Freddy Got Fingered, but just hearing about it was enough to make me understand why everyone else in the world views Americans as morons.

Tom Green is actually from Canada. He has hosted the Canadian Walk of Fame for two years now, probably because he can't get another job.

On the premise alone, the movie sounds horrible, and yet...it has Dane Cook. And pretty, pretty Ryan Reynolds. So I must see it.

Dane Cook said last night on Jay Leno that the movie is based on Bennigan's. Can't they sue if their restaurant is being depicted as serving steaks seasoned with dandruff?

I'm in for a couple of reasons: 1) It reminds me of the place in Office Space where Jennifer Anniston's character worked and I think that has potential 2) it is rated R so it won't be lamely "toned down" and 3) it is a comedy without the lame ass "romantic" moniker in front of it. If there's a little love on the side of the humor, fine, but shite like "Perfect Man who Must Love Dogs in Heaven" type movies are not COMEDIES

I was intrigued by it because I had heard it described as Office Space in a restaurant, and I luuuuurve Office Space, but the previews look really bad.

That "God I can't wait to quit this job!" line is the best. I worked in foodservices and I had a peppy manager just like in that scene. You want to quit the job but it's secure and you can't be bothered to look for another one. So you feel like that everyday.

I think it looks pretty good, and it has Dane Cook and Justin Long in it, so I want to see it.
Plus, the reviews I've seen today have been largely negative, which is usually a sign that I'll love it.
