Speaking of Larry King and his show, I've heard that Heather Mills McCartney will host the show on Saturday which will cover Charles and Camilla's wedding. So if anyone was going to watch LKL, be prepared. Her interviewing skills are not, shall we say, very well developed. But that is a post for another thread.

What time (CDT) will the festivities begin tomorrow? at least the televised part.
And will they have waitresses from Hooters serving the chicken wings?

Maybe not from Hooters (splendid idea though!) ;D Perhaps from the "Rose & Crown" pub mentioned though. We could have them wear skimpy clothing, a la Hooters, maybe have them on rollerblades.

How about short shorts with tavern wench blouses (the kind one hangs out the top of) and those corselet things around the midriff? Like the idea of the rollerblades.

Are any of you going to watch the coverage tomorrow? I'll pass. I seriously cannot stomach her shit-eating "ha ha ha, I got him after all" grin. And it's not like it's going to be a pomp-and-circumstance filled royal event (which, I admit, I do enjoy sometimes) so I don't think I'm going to miss much. Also, I'm sick of reporters gushing about how this couple is "finally" going to be together. WTF? Last time I checked, they've been together since 1986, by Chuckie's' own admission. They might have kept it on the down low at times (Diana's death) but they've always been together. Also, they've been living together for years.I hate how Chuckie's spin doctors are portraying them as some poor innocent couple who've been cruelly kept apart. Vomit.

They never broke up....he had her in the sack the night before the wedding, took her pictures on his honeymoon and then wore her cufflinks. They were bed buddies the whole time, the 1986 date is bollocks!!! I say bollocks!

Well, I never bought the 1986 starting date, either.  I was just protecting myself against those who would scream "there's no proof that they were together before then!" But yeah, her mysteriously being with him on that train before the wedding, him having her photos in his diary while on the honeymoon, those lame ass "Fred & Gladys" cufflinks that he opened during the honeymoon...all signs point to them never really breaking up. I think Chuckie's people agreed to use the 1986 date because that's when Diana took up with Hewitt. They wanted to make it look like Chuckie went back to Camilla because Diana cheated. Frankly, I think it's a useless argument as to who began cheating first, because we'll never know, but I think most people can agree that Chuckie never really let go of Cammie in his mind. |

Phenobarbara , just a big ol' WORD to everything that you said.
I am going to forward this by saying I was/am a huge Diana fan, so my opinion is colored. I think she totally got the shaft in that marriage. Charles just wanted her for breeding a couple of heirs and he wanted to keep seeing his mistress, before and after the wedding. Diana was young, naive and in love and he treated her like trash. I blame Chuck and Cam 100% for the breakup of the marriage. Charles is a spoiled petulant brat and should have had the balls to stand up and marry Cams 30 years ago. Oh, I know Diana had her issues with bulimia and a whole host of other problems. Yeah, I know she cheated on Charles too, but (and maybe I’m a sucker) I believed her in the Panorama interview when she said that she only cheated after the marriage was “irretrievably” broken down.
After all that, I will however watch at least some of the wedding coverage. I don’t give a flying fig about Chuckie and his bride, I want to see what people are wearing and stuff.
