Apparently, according to one report, he pointed out the mics to the boys as they were poised at their feet. He is so addled anymore, he probably forgot they were there, but then again, he doesn't really give a rats behind about anything anyway, so it could have been deliberate.

I kind of agree with this. The media has trashed him at every turn. Although is was a pretty boneheaded move to let the mikes pick it up.

So, one week until the blessed event. Any Brits taking the day off and heading to Windsor? I so wish I could be there!

On April 8, Charles and Parker Bowles - the longtime love whom Diana blamed for the breakup of her marriage - will be driven from Windsor Castle to the local town hall, where they will be married by a registrar before about 30 guests.

The bridegroom will likely wear a suit, the 57-year-old bride a dress by Robinson Valentine, a small London-based company she is known to favor. The guests will include Charles' sons William and Harry, Camilla's children Laura and Tom - but not Charles' mother Queen Elizabeth II, who said she was staying away to keep the event low-key.

Television cameras will not record the wedding vows, although TV will broadcast the blessing that follows in the castle's St. George's Chapel. Led by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, it will include prayers, selections from Bach and Handel and three of the couple's favorite hymns.

The newlyweds will appear for the media on the castle steps before a reception for family and friends, reportedly including a finger-food buffet*. But the crowds gathered to greet them are likely to be far smaller than on that summer's day in London 24 years ago.

*See, I told you guys it was going to be finger-food! KFC extra crispy wings, Mrs. Paul's spicy fishsticks (no relation to Gwyneth Paltrow, CPMCoG's own Fishstick), bacon-wrapped scallops, pitted black and green olives, raw carrots (horses like those), and that holiday green bean casserole with the fake onion rings on top. Maybe some vintage screw-top wine. Hostess Twinkies and/or Ho-Ho's for dessert.

What I find funny about Chuck's press gaffe is that his "camp" always criticized Diana for complaining about the press whilst using them to her own ends. Isn't that what Chuck is doing now? Parading himself and his future bride in front of the cameras so the world can see how in luuuurve they are, but as soon as he's inconvenienced by them, he complains.
