I don't get it. Pete is fug, I mean, FUG. I was flipping through one of the tabs yesterday (I think it was one of the tabs from the week before), it had "Match the celeb with their engagement ring!" I looked at all the rings first, all of them were the usual celeb fanfare except one that was just, completely normal, 1 carat, round solitaire on a yellow gold band. I almost screeched out loud. (haha. I was rather ashamed. Ahem. Anyway...) Then I looked at the pictures of the celebs and guessed who it supposedly belonged to immediately... Yep. Pete and Kate. If that's true, I'm slightly embarrassed for her, considering the Hollywood standards and all. I guess his engagement ring fund went up his nose.

I think it's pronouced "foo-ket" but then again, I also say "jy-ro." I'm glad they didn't get married. Whoever has her daughter should make damned sure Pete gets nowhere near that little girl.

Jefferson Hack is reputedly a nice guy, if one with a penchant for the willowy supermodel-y types with delicate features. He's loaded (inherited wealth), and currently dating Anouck Lepore, I think. They're in those new Gap ads together. I'm not positive how much of a role he plays in Lila's life -- an acquaintance of mine was dating him some years ago and never mentioned meeting her, but then again I never asked.

I heard that Kate and Jefferson share custody of Lila. And *share* seems to mean that whenever Kate is not on an assignment overseas, on a bender tour with Pete, and is awake during the daylight hours she sees her daughter. Pete, thankfully, has only supervised access to his kid.
