I think she's almost ugly sometimes, but she's offbeat in a way that ends up being beautiful. I really like her face.

Also, I understand the appeal of Pete for her. Yes he is gross-looking now, and he's a complete disaster, but he's actually really smart and interesting. And she probably believes she can "save him." I hope for her sake that she's finished with him. I don't think it was a good relationship for him, either; two junkies don't make a right. I don't think he will ever be clean, though, no matter who he's dating. It makes me sad because I used to really adore him.

Model Lindi, a former date of Hollywood actor Jared Leto, and rocker Axl Rose, broke her silence and told a Sunday newspaper of her shame following her fling with the Babyshambles singer after a night out clubbing in London's West End.

Kate and Christy Turlington are in the same category to me. Excellent bone structure and blank moon faces that can be made up in any variety of interesting ways. The fact that Christy's face was used as the mold for mannequins at Barney's underscored that bone structure/blankness thing for me.

I think Kate's appeal is her insouciance - not so much what she wears (which is not always as noteworthy as the mags pretend) but her confidence in wearing it.

JeanBean I think you're right, she has a "what you gonna do about it ?" vibe that is always youthful and appealing.

I always preferred her looks (and Helena Christensen and Cindy Crawford) to Linda, Cristy, Giselle et al due to the fact that she didn't have a bunch of really obvious (and bad) plastic surgery. She's a little offbeat but what you see is what you get.
