I looked and didn't see a thread, so...
Was taken to see this by someone else, and ended up enjoying it way more than I expected to. As a wannabe writer, I was SO THERE with a lot of the psychological aspects of writing... I particularly liked that Colin Farrell's character wasn't some Byronic, chest-beating Tortured! Writer! but more of an average fuckup who just really wanted to get published.
The plot itself was kind of soapy and melodramatic, but Salma Hayek and Idina Menzel were quite good. Colin Farrell was way more watchable than I expected and he handled the voice-overs particularly well. In fact, I think I liked the monologues better than the actual movie.
