I saw the trailer for this kids movie before RV and never noticed this but last night they were showing parts of this movie on ET. Why do the bulls in this cartoon have Udders? One of the main characters - Otis as voiced by Kevin James is a bull and has this huge udder. My daughter said "You can tell city people drew this cartoon".

Hell, I'm a city girl and the bulls-with-udders thing annoys the hell out of me. I'm not going anywhere near this one.

Agh! So glad I'm not insane. I am a city person and I saw that trailer and I was like "Hmmm, why do the cows with udders have boy voices? Are they masculine cows? Like Bea Arthur?" Then I started doubting my cow biology and I started to think "Hmm, I thought boy cows were bulls and female cows had udders but maybe I'm wrong. Certainly a movie would have researched this and figured out that boy cows do not produce milk . . . "

Sam Elliott: That's a good question. That was my question. I asked [director] Steve Oedekerk - who I happen to think is brilliant - I said, "So ... let me get this straight: He's a cow? And his name is Ben? How does that work?" He said, "What do you mean?" I said, "Well, is he a bull named Ben?" "No, no, he's a cow" - like it was an absurd question. But that's what it is: a cow named Ben.

As I recall, his take on that was "Hey, this is a kids' movie. You think the kids are going to say, 'How come he's a cow and his name is Ben?'" So I have no answer for you! I wish I did.

Well, that's just fantastic. The director thinks children are morons or at least he's hoping they are.

I am so glad I am not the only person who is bothered by this. I think this Director may be in for a big surprise. He must not have any children.

The bulls with udders thing has been driving me crazy since I started seeing trailers for this. So basically, the folks behind this think kids are so stupid that they can't tell a bull from a cow? Way to think very little of your audience.

At first I thought it was going to be about a transgender cow or just a cow who was really butch. But, no, it's just some citified moron who thinks that no one can tell a bull from a cow.

What is wrong with the director? If you really think kids are so incredibly stupid, you shouldn't be making kids' movies. This flick sounds like it will be really condesending and lame.

Besides, Courteney "I starved my face off so my butt will look good" Cox does a voice is this flick and I hate her way too much to put money in anything she does.
