Based on the novel by Phillip K. Dick, and directed by independent wunderkind Richard Linklater (reprising the unique visual style of “Wakening Life.”) It stars Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson, Keanu Reeves, and Winona Ryder. The trailer is here. I can’t be the only one looking forward to this.

I don't have anything interesting to say other than to note that Richard Linklater is a fucking genius and I am ALL OVAH this movie.

If you loved Waking Life (and I did) and if you like Philip K Dick (and I do) and if you don't mind a somewhat done-before-but-not-before-the-story-was-written twist (and I don't) and if you don't mind a rather bleak set of characters and storyline (and I don't) and if you kind of dig getting really disoriented with two characters in Scramble Suits talking, niether of them knowing who each other or even themselves really are (and I don't), then I think you'll like the film. And I did.
