I love Colin. I think he's mellowed out since becoming a father (to a child with celebral palsy as well, poor thing), and I've always thought he was one of the more natural 'Hollywood' actors out there. I watched 'The New World' again the other day and boy, was he pretty. Between him and Christian Bale, I thought my head was going to explode. Pride and Glory trailer. Ed Norton + Colin = I'm there.

I do think fatherhood as changed him as well. It seems he's sobered up, concentrating on his acting, staying out of the tabloids... I'm glad for him.

Watched In Bruges yesterday. It was good, but man, I don't recommend watching it if you're already a little down...
He looked great though. Though I suspect that IRL I'd find him kind of shrimpy.

There are some rumors about that he's impregnated his new gf, some British novelist. Pride and Glory looks great; it keeps getting held up by studio politics - I hope they release it soon.

There are some clips of Colin's great interview with Jonathan Ross here The long hair does absolutely nothing for him, I hope he gets a haircut very soon but he comes across as such a nice and relaxed guy and I hope he'll be ok now. I really like Colin, can't help it

Wow, that's an interesting story re: Atkins. Glad to know he's not ageist. And I'm glad that this is the most salacious story I'm hearing about him. He seems to be doing much better these days, and I'm relieved.

I used to think he was a sleazy pig, but I really admire how he came out and basically said, "Yeah, my son has a health problem, so what?" instead of either being overly dramatic or acting like it was something to be ashamed of. Imagine if it was someone like J.Lo who's baby had a problem. She'd be selling interviews left and right about "My brave battle with my baby's tragic health crisis".
Yeah, he's probably still sleazy as ever, but I don't really care now.

I definitely think he's had a 'come to Jesus' moment, maybe a result of a combo of things--a dropoff of huge projects, rehab and/or his son's illness. I think his sleaziness factor has also been dialed down--or he's just keeping it under wraps (cause really, I don't need to know all that about my celeb crushes). His public treatment of his son seems so different than say, Jenny McCarthy's, who parades her son's autism around in US Weekly practically every week...I appreciate her wanting to get the word out, but at some point it's overkill, no? I just want to see him in good movies again, ala Tigerland.

Congratulations, Golden Globe winner Colin! So great to see him winning, he seemed genuinely happy and grateful. Lovely in his press room interview after he won.
